a schoolteacher emailed me saying their students had written a song about BLTs and asked if i could rotate one for them. i guess you all get the secondary benefit of seeing it too

it's actually a really mid and weird low carb bread i keep buying out of habit and because it happens to look like the platonic ideal of bread. called 367 or something like that
As a child, I did not understand the attraction of the BLT. As an adult, I've found a deep appreciation for it. It's so simple, minimal and yet it is hardly ever not delicious. A well-made BLT on a summer afternoon with good ingredients transcends mere sandwichdom.
I subscribe to the kenji theory of BLTs which is that it’s a tomato sandwich with bacon as seasoning rather than a bacon sandwich with tomato. That being said there’s plenty of space for crappy hothouse tomato blts as well
This is so awesome. Now that crew can end the day singing their BLT song with twirling sandwich on the smart board. This is the kind of stuff that makes teaching so much fun, when classroom culture is strong and rocking.
