Keir Starmer's spokesman says the PM was "surprised" to hear Kemi Badenoch condemn sandwiches and say she "has a steak brought in for lunch" instead.
Says Starmer "is quite happy with the sandwich lunch," which he describes as a "Great British institution"
Says he likes a "tuna sandwich or toasty"

Especially as Badenoch was bleeting on in the Spectator about, "dying for this country".
I'm starting to think she's a plant.
she's trying to abolish people having the ability to pause work to eat something.
Because if she can work through her lunch, and somehow manage to eat a steak at the same time, then surely EVERYONE else can too?
But they clearly have never had chips and fried eggs between slices of buttered bread....
Seriously if you haven't tried that, it's awesome. Butter (even Stork to be fair) with ASDA (or Tesco) brand Lemon curd smeared over the top, on a sandwich - is like a poor mans Lemon Cheesecake. So delicious.
Pret, but other sandwich shops are available.
No, I'm not taking the piss
