Being the human in this video would be my ideal daily life. Being the dog in this video is my ideal afterlife, or maybe what I can hopefully graduate to if reincarnation is a reality.
I work in tech. It's exactly like this but not every day, only the days when.... excuse me, my Teams chat is exploding with bosses I didn't even know I had right now.
I don't know what to say to anyone who thinks this is true. The private sector means swallowing bullshit for money; selling your narrow expertise and keeping your mouth shut.
That has to be AI, there has never, ever been a husky that chill.
1) laying that still that long
2) not talking at all.
3) letting you touch ears, paws etc without telling you why you should not do that
They're good natured but can be reactive. I assume that's the dog's owner and the dog is used to this treatment. I wouldn't go round sticking anything in a dog's ears, as a rule.
I'm sure it's not true for everybody, maybe not even most, but I tripled my salary and was able to stop my bp meds (the second is only correlation, couldn't prove it to save my life). Additional context: I got -very- lucky in more than one way, and I did it in an economy that no longer exists.
My wife is disillusioned with private industry after working in academic fields most her career. Honestly she seemed way happier in academia versus the politics and back stabbing of the private sector.
This is Manyu on Instagram. My wife is a big fan and shares with me the good videos. Our family LOVES Shiba Inus although our girl Shiba does not have the same level of calm as Manyu. :)
Academics must be living large. I work in tech, and I can't even imagine being able to afford that for my dog, and so regularly that she'd lie still enjoying it like that without licking the person paying all that attention to her.
I hear that at Google they provide free dinners. Also I hear Google expects enough people to be working through dinner to make it cheaper to run an in-house restaurant.
This pup is loving this ❤️, all our pups should be so loved. 😂🤣 but academics with the chump cult in charge would never be anything good. Musk either. They both would ruin tech for anyone.
lol this is so true. Having worked in both, I can unequivocally say working in tech is 100x more work, stress, money and soul draining. I had a friend in academia suggest that working in tech was some 10-3 cushy thing and I was like huh? You think these companies pay all that for nothing?!
In school I would always look up the career w the highest job satisfaction and it was always college professor. Instead, I opted for business ops then IT. I feel most corp jobs are utter chaos internally and a constant shell game to look normal externally.
Manyu has been lovingly trained by their owner since being a puppy when he got her to cope with the loss of his mother. He never has drugged her and has only used a lot of treats and patience to get her comfortable with her spa days.
I cannot tell if this is a joke or not; if it is not I am genuinely fascinated to learn that animal massage is a real career. (This is not intended as negativity or anything - I just genuinely cannot tell and it’s really cool if it’s a career people actually do!!)
I’m absolutely serious and completely understand your mild suspicions. 😂 It is definitely a career which targets post-surgical, high-stress, and geriatric animals. Since people really love their animals and want the best for them, there’s a market!
Some dogs are like this when they’re routinely exposed to massage and healing techniques. You’d never immediately get a dog to relax this way, but over time? Sure!
Humans don’t always relax into massage or reiki or sound baths. But they can learn to!
I always look at the alt text for these, out of curiosity. The text almost never truly describes.
This one doesn't mention the bug eyed look, and that's really the point.
I keep forgetting how to do alt text. I'd have fun doing descriptions.
On so many levels I should not like this. Then again I could give a fuck about academics and what they imagine, and really just love how chilled out the dog is. Plus the ASMR....

zen dog spa
and was surprised ar the number of US businesses that turned up,, including those that offer dog massage
🤣🤣🤣
No way my dog would permit that.
2. I need that ear-cleaning thing for my dogs.
That feels so good just watching it, mmmmm...... 🐶
In the wild, wolves use shiatsu massage and aroma therapy to dominate other dogs. This is not fun for him!
ALL of us will need this treatment once that CONVICTED FELON is out of office 😭😅💞🔥
Thanks for giving him ideas! 🤣
omfg
That is the goodest boy and deserves all of that! That was pure joy. 🥰
Really captures the imagination, apparently.
jealous
That's NOT how it would go?
DEAN!!!
Sorry, I was overcome, and partially raised by grandparents.
I could not be more excited.

I learned massage AFTER a hamstring was permanently destroyed.
then it shitted on the hallway carpet
Where is this spa? Please please. 🙂
The dog massage is real too 😉
