How cool is this. Voyager 1 is coasting in interstellar space, more than 48 years & 25 billion miles from Earth. Its back-up manoeuvring thrusters failed more than 2 decades ago. But @NASAJPL have GOT THEM WORKING AGAIN!!!! https://www.jpl.nasa.gov/news/nasas-voyager-1-revives-backup-thrusters-before-command-pause/

Is it being suggested that NASA switched V1 off & then back on again to fix it, or have I missed something?
And that's in almost 50 years?

25,000,000,000 Kilometers ≈
0.0026425021 light years.
It's still closest to our star... Space is really big.
It’s absolutely stunning that there is a group of people working on this 1970s technology and fixing problems almost 25 billion km away
When V1 and V2 go dark I will literally cry
