TBF you actually 'can', you'd have to bottle it yourself though, producers can't be bothered with all the extra costs for such a minute market, they probably stopped at the same time Churchill died, due to a collapse in demand...
They're spaced in metres due to pan-European legislation but signed in yards due to UK legislation, hence the "funny numbers". (Evidently Jacob wasn't aware that all signs on all roads have been spaced in metric but signed in imperial since the 1970s…)
I suspect that he will be fuming a lot more about not being able to progress his objective of returning the country to a form of medieval serfdom further.
Didn't support Brexit but the trading Scottish fishing waters without consulting Scottish government is a slap in the face to Scots by Starmer yet again
I blame the WI if they hadn't started singing a song about Jerusalem being built here. No one would come here looking for it. Oh, and what about our white cliffs? The French have had their eyes on them since Britain drifted from Europe, a millennium ago 🧐
FFS I’ve only just finished straightening all the bananas in the supermarkets! I was going out tomorrow to fill up the chip shops with newspapers………….. bloody Remoaners
Hobgoblin beers come in pint cans and if you can find anyone importing Stone IPA that does too though I'm trying to avoid as many US products as possible until the Orange Manbaby has vacated the White House. A pint of Dom Perignon 49 goes down well with caviar vindaloo as witnessed in Red Dwarf.
I’m mentally listing the Brexit benefits:
Pints of wine that were never produced;
iPhone chargers that were never produced and if they had could not be used anywhere else;
Something to do with Imperial measures that was never adopted.
Were there any others?
Ironically, only benefit was for. small boat arrivals and other asylum seekers who had previously claimed in an EU country. They can not be returned due to UK coming out of Dublin Convention. I know 2 asylum seekers who got refugee status but in old days they would have been removed to EU
I had a thought earlier, I fear now that we have better trade deals, rhetoric from brexit leaders about immigration will ramp up to heightened levels which is scary tbh.
Yeah but it should be Dom Perignon 49 and be used to wash down caviar vindaloo with rice and chips followed by lots of bread and butter like in Red Dwarf. When I did it I used Freixenet Cordon Negro but it was probably the best way I've eaten caviar.
I usually give every side the benefit of the doubt at PMQs and after announcements. It was impossible today. Absolutely full of codswallop. Made zero sense to me what Badenoch said as there was zero information, questions or actual truth...Is Badenoch going all Liz Truss on us?
Quite interesting, the champagne bottle was an English invention. The French didn't have the glass-making technology at the time that could hold the pressures needed, so they tried to extract the fizz out of champagne instead.
James - when you go following Kidderminster Harriers in the footy, have you ever found a pub which does pint bottles of beer? If we can’t even manage that logical step, then
Comments
Or imperial road signs in tunnels. Or (fractionally) more powerful hoovers.
We’re loosing all these earth-shattering Brexit benefits.
And for what…..GDP growth.
Phah. Who needs GDP growth 😉

Do I run 167 yards in one direction or 148 yards in the other I just don’t know!
Genius.
You can have whatever you want as long as you are willing to pay the price!
Probably a series of storms.
There was an English Channel when the Romans came over.
Whatever they called it.
And at the time of Herodotus. Though he had some strange ideas about it, he knew it was an island.
We don’t even know what languages the people who lived there then spoke.
Can I get an account there too?
The pint glasses will have a crown on them!
The English "pint" is derived from the French word "pinte" - a measurement of liquid
Melchizedeks only
(40 BTL, 30 L) 😜
Damn the EU for inflicting more pain on us! 🤣
Pints of wine that were never produced;
iPhone chargers that were never produced and if they had could not be used anywhere else;
Something to do with Imperial measures that was never adopted.
Were there any others?
No end in sight to all the suffering...
Exhibit A: l'utilitaire <
Oh.

If its on draft even better.

Back to 750ml then.
Any other Brexit freedom they think they're still clinging to?
Mini them to a thimble.
