It’s easy to dismiss this, but you can write off the fascists as being fascists on X the Everything App. It feels significantly worse to get yelled at during your job by the people who are supposed to be your friends and allies, especially when you have to be the one to respond to it.

1. You are out there, which wins people over with time.
2. If you can find the signal through the noise you'll find raw feedback. If your social media staffer can do this they become invaluable.
3. Blue is a different sample from Meta and X.
Folks literally put a flag in the sand to take Democrats OUT of power and therefore able to help Gazans and any statement that they would do otherwise is just met with screeches that they’re lying
You can block or mute me or whatever I don’t really care, but, 100% that labeler is bullshit.
It was wildly over-represented in media because journalists were addicted to it. This has been pointed out over and over again but we're still talking about active user metrics?
Getting way more of that here than anywhere else I've been..
Since maybe the old Slate "Frey" back in the oughts. (2003-2007)
There are plenty of gettable votes here. Not everyone hates Democrats
Or, Bluesky can figure out more of what e.g. Twitter does poorly or not at all, and be excellent at that.

Plus, there’s been a lot of attacks on users (I for one was repeatedly blocked and put on “block lists” by magamorons)
Not sure terrorising users is a very effective strategy, in any case.
The platform will develop as it will.
I get how responses to posts are unique, but never understood how much work an original post duplicated is. It seems pretty automatic.
People are making a choice to stay on X for reasons. Follower counts, ego, monetization, even liking the sentiment and hate there.
Need electeds/orgs to post here first. Maybe delay cross posts 2 hrs
The election and rise of crazy Musk sent many here. They looked around, decided it wasn't the same party, and left. Of course, many doing that made it so the party never truly arrived. But many also stayed.
This looks like regular disengagement trends to me; bsky doesn't advertise much and who needs new socials
Or at least it is when you are not doing your job and the people who are on your side are trying to tell you so.
One would hope.
But the reality is that the staffers can’t convince the principals to use it.
If you're a Democratic staffer, posting to BlueSky is going to be demoralizing as fuck, it's going to be demoralizing for the person you're trying to represent, and yeah, I'm not sure that helps us.
