I find it disappointing to watch Sesame Street now.
It is a shadow of its old self, which we loved. The pace is now quite manic and distracting, the sweetness is not there. There are more falls and hits, supposed to be funny but it's not funny.
My grandson and I got far more out of Pocoyo.
I don’t understand how the corrupt politicians and Supreme Court and business people can’t be touched by beauty such as this and are hell-bent on destroying our country.
Yes, of course, Kermit should have died with Henson.
There’s no merit in having the character live on through the stewardship of Jim’s family, the company Jim built, and the artists he mentored.
Just to be clear, I was being sarcastic (I *really* thought that was obvious).
The exhaustive social media obligation to have an “opposite” to shit on while giving praise to the “better” thing… I’m just absolutely over it.
Why not just all enjoy the beautiful classic Sesame Street skit and have that be it?
Why do we have to shit on the work of other artists and entertainers in a comparison?
What not just say “this thing is great!” and have that be the end of it?
Kermit is a wonderful character that has become a valuable and beautiful presence in our culture. The legacy artists who’ve dedicated themselves to respecting the history of these characters and keeping them alive are themselves making an immense contribution.
I managed to find a name, her name is Joey Calvan and from the looks of it she appeared on Seseme Street a few times but didn't act again, theres nothing after that

They really did ruin the magic.

I remember the shock when Henson died. This country needed decades more of that man’s gifts.
"Erm, I love you too."
Then "I love you."
Oh!
I really do hope that she's living her best life.
