My 2024 was almost beyond belief:
* The Reformatory continues to astound me with its reception. It took me seven years of pain to write and won a Bram Stoker Award, L.A. Times Book Prize, Shirley Jackson Prize, Chautauqua Award and was a New York Times Notable Book.
Readers: I am speechless.

I knew that name sounded familiar.
I seen it at the library.
I downloaded it on Audible!
Personally, I feel this is a book for the decades. A book of people will still be reading a century.

As a newbie, the reception to Moon Dogs has also been mind-blowing to me. Thrilled to discover a new way to tell stories!

Getting funded to DIRECT our first short film adaptation of one of our works in 2025!
Of course I could! I'm still traumatized by the presidential election. We only got one draft of our script polish. We had a non-weather related flood in our house. My son's cat needs daily medication.
But I'm ending 2024 in gratitude. ππ
That cover is awesome!
Congratulations!!
The narrator has a gift for children's voices.
It was one of my favorite reads of 2024 and Iβve been recommending it to anyone and everyone.
Congratulations π
