Last night NDP voters saved Canada from the surging hard right, but had to sacrifice our own party in the process.
Today the battle begins for a system where we don't have to do that any more.
We badly need a party that can save Canada from the oligarchs who brought us all to the brink.

Maybe instead be mad at the system that forces people to vote for a liberal party that doesn’t represent them
Accept the facts and maybe you can rebuild.
FPTP is pernicious and destabilizing.
My long-shot hope is that NDP would join a coalition in exchange for ranked choice voting.
The only way to make every vote count is some form of Proportional Representation.
But I for one would can’t foreseeably see voting NDP in my riding, where Libs narrowly lost, in FPTP.
Trump said the quiet part aloud yesterday and it was a fearful thing.
Could be worse, but that's problem isn't it?
Y'all have a lot on your plate. I wish only the best for you
Neither one of those assumptions has been tested and much more analysis is necessary.
But I just couldn't let little pp-mini-tRump win, so I did what I had to do. Hopefully NDP rebuilds and recovers.

I’m sure there are a lot of people who did the same.
But that’s not analysis.
If you are trying to rebuild a party, you need factual analysis.
For example, how did the Conservatives win in previously safe NDP ridings in Ontario?
Where am I flat out wrong?
Okay.
Explain the Conservative seats won in previous NDP ridings in Ontario.
The outcome is excellent, but it couldn't have happened without those voters answering the call.
Big huge thanks to NDP voters and the folks in Carleton! 🥂 And another round for the folks in Quebec who voted liberal!
People don't vote for policy. They vote for people.
Those that didn't likely saw Carney as an out-of-touch elite who hasn't struggled for money in decades and heard Pierre saying that life sucks.
Easy to get wrapped up in hyperbolic outrage if you're mad yourself.

Your talking points are exactly why the NDP was defeated across Canada.
It was the BQ who delivered a minority LPC govt. The NDP delivered a high seat count for the CPC in many provinces.
The information ecology is poisoned and every Liberal capitulation to elite power at the expense of working people will be cynically exploited.
Let's get off this nauseating ride.
We need to overcome the bullshit, and convince people that socialism is the BASIS of our society!
Wisdom and morals lie at the core of a democratic society, stupidity is the opposite of wisdom.
The only NDP figure that looks even remotely like leadership material in Canada is Wab Kinew.
they campaigned on lies and are currently fast tracking the pollution industry
Singh's terrible strategic planning caused a collapse in support because the NDP disappeared under Justin's grip.
If the 'sacrifice' was real a dozen more seats wouldn't have allowed the CONS to win with vote splitting.
It was a strategic mistake for the NDP to support Justin as long as it did.
#NDP picked a Leader that continued to kill it off!!
IF you had picked Charlie it'd be vastly different from the Narcissist!!
NOTHING ELSE MATTERS!
We need some form of proportional representation in parliament.
The social democratic version of the NDP got us lots of benefits in the past, while not being the party forming a government.
If the NDP wants to be relevant ever again, it can't just be the progressive edge of the Liberal Party.
Thank you to ALL Canadians that make that happen.
NDP didn't lose; you made new friends
Merci beaucoup chers amis au Canada 🇨🇦 🙏🏼
It would be great if the party could get back to those days.
The NDs really missed the boat when Poilievre somehow came out as the champion of the Canadian worker.
Making a system that is aggressively fair, maintaining trade embargoes until US policies equalize and safeguard
You are seen as the voice of reason now and your guidance will make US citizens ask themselves questions and consider following your lead.
I think the party status should be changed & all legitimate parties should get a certain amount of funding for every election regardless of how many candidates you have, simply so you can work at building your party
Which is a good thing.
Sure Carney won, but Conservative got a lot of votes.
Possibly the Canadians are smarter than Southern cousins, because they rejected Trump, but not so smart to fully reject Cons, innit?
