For people who came here to correct him that Trump is Nero in McGovern’s analogy, not Caesar: Roman Emperors after Caesar Augustus, including Nero, were often referred to by the title Caesar. There is also no evidence Nero burned Rome, he just exploited the fire to persecute unwanted groups.
