Don't put in the newspaper that she is a history buff.

The review of the Smithsonian museums for "improper ideology" is being led by a 35-year old lawyer who has no experience or credentials in history or museum studies.

But one supporter says she is an avid "fan of history."🗃️

I read as much history as my brain can stand, if not more.

Having said that, I would never consider myself a historian as I’m not the one digging through original material. I just read those who do.

Usually it’s for people whose hobbies and interests include learning about history or specific periods therein, but who aren’t academics or professionals, and who don’t perform any original research. It can be a brag or self-deprecating (“I’m not a historian, I’m just a fan”)
