I own a cattery. I went through every product you can think of to get rid of cat spray smells, and urine smells. Finally another cattery turned me on to a product call SCOEX 10...from the moment you spray it the smell is gone, no matter how bad. The company has a website.
Order a spray called Angry Orange on Amazon. Clean the mess first with a little soapy water . Blot dry and then throughly spray Angry Orange on the spot. It works almost immediately. I use it all the time.
to legitimately rid of the smell of cats litterbox odor, is baking soda! fairly inexpensive and non toxic to cats (unless they EAT more than a mouthful.) I also like using room sprays and taking out her litter every time she goes number 2 in doggie bags, helps a ton! Make sure the spray is safe tho!
we had an 11 year old incontinent manx on hospice for the last year of her life. skout's honor was the only product that remotely worked & we added it to the wash too.
If my cat peed like that, I'd have to catch it in a pillow case and torture it until the goblins brought me back my real cat and took the standing-to-pee changling.
