Also the colors "vermillion" and "chartreuse" should be swapped, the former sounds so much more like a green and the latter like a red.
I was using it like "esteemed". 😑

However, I meant 'fascile' as specifically a superficial *pretense* - e.g., billionaires' competence.
That's a good word. Keep using it! We need that word!!
Honing is refining and smoothing.
There's actually a good argument for either one. Dang.
Personally, I've always said "Honing".
