My wish list for reforming presidential powers:
1) Reform the Insurrection Act;
2) End presidential immunity;
3) Ban pardons for family members;
4) Provide for Senate advice and consent on other pardons;
5) Roll back tariff authority; and
6) Revive Congressional war powers.

Must have a security clearance and background check before taking office.
This will not eliminate the bias, just reduce it.
It's called the 14th amendment, and the problem is that nobody wants to enforce it.
Democratic politicians do not have sufficient backbone right now.
Strengthen the Impoundment Control Act.
Catapult the Electoral College into the Sun.
1) Presidents NOT allowed to interfere with DOJ/FBI; automatic removal if interferes.
2) DOJ should be allowed to investigate/indict a sitting president.
3) Limit SCOTUS justice terms.
4) SCOTUS justices held to the same ethnic standard as all federal judges.
5) Limit Senate terms.
Term limits
Public campaign finance only
President, Vice President and other Civil Officers to Federal Criminal Prosecution
while in Office (Sept. 24, 1973)
The threshold for overriding a Veto on legislation that overturns an Executive Order should be much lower than 2/3.
No stock trading for government officials while in office
End Citizens United and money in politics.
2) Ban nonconsecutive terms (there should be finality to the voters firing you)
3) Explicitly condone impeachment for maladministration
4) Eligibility for office can be enforced by states. Appeals must be on the merits
Would you still be against a Presidential pardon for a POTUS’ family member?
A. The will of the people
B. A functioning Congress
To that end, we should eliminate (or reform) the Electoral College thereby empowering more voters AND ban gerrymandering and expand the House
Everyone is religious. Everyone worships something.
What you want is simply not possible.
For pardons - should include a broad definition of family + anyone indicted for a matter involving the president or their family or administration.
Maybe we could add one that prevents a convicted felon from running for president?
Describe the wrongs you have done, why they were illegal, how you...
But if a year later it turns out you've left out relevant details from your confession, the pardon should be rescinded in toto.
I think having a capacity for mercy included in the law is good.
My advice: Quit smoking that joint that Tucker Carlson and Putin rolled for you. Learn how to read the room.
My wish: Scratch out every godawful fucking law Republcicans have made since Nixon.
And follow the fucking US Constitution.
