Plus Harvard is one of the few places that offers substantial aid to international students. The international students I know are on 100% scholarship.

It’s true that many schools make international students pay full price. Harvard is not one of them.

I don’t support anything this regime is doing, but many foreign students pay cash, so the dollar factor is no joke. Maybe this will make room for more American students. Does that sound awful? Having said that, I see the value of having foreign students, of course. #Baby/Bathwater

It takes away our nation’s top schools ability to recruit and retain the world’s best and brightest. The long-term damage to America is astounding.

Oxford, Cambridge, Toronto Sorbonne, etc. all have to be shocked at the stupidity of these actions. But also happy to benefit from it.

When we let the MBA types take over university administration to run institutions of learning as businesses, it did change the way most people look at the role of tuition paying students. It's less the case at Harvard, but something like this or just knock on effects will bankrupt other unis.
