That is the difference between the not so great authors, such as L Ron Hubbert or Amanda McKittrick Ros and truly great ones like Toni Morrison, Elizabeth Strout, and Stephen King. I find the best writers are also those who recognize & cut what needs to be deleted. Wishing you much success.
