This is really interesting, appeals to my priors on how to activate a partisan of any ideological stripe, appears to have explanatory power (2020 primary), and seems precisely calculated* to drive a particular sort of anti-Democrat leftist absolutely around the bend with rage.

That's where this list came from - its not what I, personally, want
Rather, I'd interviewed dozens of Biden 2020 primary voters & endorsers & I was trying to condense what *they* might need to hear in order to vote for a left candidate in a primary

But just generally this centrist obsession with being betrayed by "online leftists" is getting pretty tired.
" Other Republicans aren't bad there just acting ' like liberals'"
The way he says it is by " being more dem"
I think that's good advice.
"X is a good dem But they're acting like a Republican"
Refusal to acknowledge this within the online media ecosystem is indistinguishable from intentional sabotage.
He moved inside the tent post-2020, but so many didn't follow. A lot of people essentially deny that reunification even happened.
Dunno what to take from that.
probably a problem with how one's faction engages with lefties if you are trying to write your appeal to the left on a step by step guide on how the left can win/gain power in the coalition and your past point somehow is to (unintentionally) write something designed to make them not listen.
I feel like everyone on the left should be less precious about this if it means getting the policy we want.

Tell me something, how come one of the worst human beings in the world can do what your boy Biden couldn't do just because he's sick of bomb Palestinians? Trump doesn't care, but even he knows somehow that it's bad Optics at the very least.
did you also fall for it when he told you that he was going to force Russia to leave Ukraine because it's so awful how many innocent Ukrainians they're killing?
You can loathe the candidate(s) in the general, but you CANNOT abstain.
Like—abstainers didn’t lose 2024, there were nowhere near enough of them.
First… there are abortion opponents among elected Democrats. Always have been.
Second, foreign policy is orders of magnitude less important than domestic policy.
Third, domestic policy is orders of magnitude less important than democracy.
But that’s exactly the flaw in point 6—it’s not really about trust or reliability, it’s about the values of the coalition itself: *whose* attempts to discipline the party are seen as legitimate.
Seriously, listen to what black women are saying.
