He did have one suggestion to move more FBI agents out of DC and into the rest of the country to focus more on arresting dangerous criminals. I think this is actually a good idea.
I believe, but I could be wrong most of the FBI in the DC area are clerical and therefore not field agents. I personally don't want office workers to have the authority to arrest people but if that sounds like a good idea to you then maybe you will like the rest of the stuff he is going to do.
I don't think you realize just how insulated federal workers who live and work in the DC area. I am a retired federal employee so I have some experience. We do need more of the federal workforce spread out through this very large country of ours.
So by your logic the problem with crime is there isn't enough office workers for the FBI around the country, if more people who never leave the office are spread out there will be less criminals. I say put more agents or open more field offices, that would be more productive in catching of crimals.

Trump will appointment him to the interim position for the 21 month limit, then find someone to replace him. Confirmation has little to do with it, and if we are being completely honest, I really don’t think Trump cares what Congress thinks. He may not need them soon.
David, I certainly hope so for all our sakes, that he has trouble getting confirmed as FBI director. I think I would much rather take my chances with what’s behind door number #2.
As someone that works with people with visual impairments, I should point out that he may suffer from strabismus "lazy eye". So while this man is a crazed sycophant, most people with strabismus are not crazy. The crazy in his eyes is likely surpassing the strabismus.
What happens if Trump picks no one else regardless if the Senate says no. I think this time around you're not gonna listen no judge you're not gonna listen to any senators or congressman gonna do what the fuck he wants.
