Someone at the Cleveland Guardians either wrote this word salad or at least read it and said "yes, this needs to be put out in a press release for our baseball team."

It looks like they got rid of the art deco style font for the ballpark and social media presentation, which was cool and unique and complimented the Guardians' statues for this new one, which is less so.
For most home series, my team pings me via e-mail or social media about available "sponsor activations" at the games. I had to look up what the heck that meant. And, it still doesn't entice me to attend. Oh, sure - I go to games. But not to experience some vendor's marketing booth or sales pitch.
There’s also something deeply, darkly funny about the brand they’re working with be one vowel different than the homegrown superstar they traded away rather than paying to keep
i see what you mean – landor – but tbqh few sentences in the english language are less specific than "homegrown superstars that cleveland traded away rather than paying to keep"
my deepest condolences. i think just about all of us are rooting for the a's. glad they paid butler, at least. but fisher makes walter o'malley look like albert schweitzer.
As a brand designer/creative director; if I’m in a meeting listening to this, I’d be tapping my fingers on the table more anxiously after each paragraph, then I’d probably finally interrupt and say something like, “Ok. Ok. I get it. But… what is it??? Show me the brand!”

(ed note : It does appear that she is married to one of Larry's sons, Paul's brother Mark. But that's likely just coincidence)
So what is “Outplay Ordinary”?
Is it just a vibe? A mood? An aura?
