I don’t like when doctors ask, “do you smoke cigarettes?” I don’t know, where am I? who am I with? was the cigarette free? is it a cold winter night outside a dimly lit bar? I need details.

The war has been going on for so long I can't even remember how or why it started. I am laying in bed with a sex worker who barely speaks my language, and I know I am going to be hungover tomorrow morning when I head back to front. She holds out a cigarette and asks "Do you smoke?" "I do tonight."
For real though, jokes aside I can’t blame occasional smokers for not wanting that in their charts the way insurance companies are, and considering it’s just a binary yes/no
Was it offered by a tall woman and after asking for a light she leans in close and pressed her lit cigarette to the tip of my unlit cigarette, approximating a form of kiss? These are important details.

“…also, I need a light.”
Cause you might be in a smokers body that is not you? :)
