I had my Mom take care of my two cats years ago. They spent the entire time there fighting over who got to sleep on the fuzzy, fluffy toilet seat cover. 😁
He's OK with the living room shag carpeting baby because it matches his eyes but this red bathroom, no way baby. Everybody knows the hip kids have chocolate brown rugs in their bathrooms.
Okay, look. It's perfectly coordinated with the cat. Even the tile is a lighter grey for contrast, and the orange floral touches include lovely grey hues. We thought it was the height of cozy chic. 🤭
70's. I had a childhood friend whose bathroom was fully carpeted. This isn't fully carpeted -- but looks remarkable similar. One thing that hasn't changed -- cats loving sinks.
Can confirm. My house, built in 1975, had shag carpeting that color. In fact, I had a rug and an easy chair that color in the house I lived in in the mid-70s.
Never have I ever made a point on my toilet paper roll, however – did those folks iron their underwear, too?
$250 to plumber, sink fell off wall when she leapt out. Sink was hanging on by the supply lines and PVC, sink peeled off back of wall. I was horror stricken! I ran for a step ladder and shoved it under sink to hold it up. Shimmed it with a stack of books, put a bucket under the line
Add in some chocolate brown and avocado green and you'd have 5/5.
Although, admittedly you'd probably also trigger a color oversaturation migraine in folks who are prone to them.
My husband had an old long haired tabby that leered at you when he got into the bathroom sink. He’d been a fighter & lost some teeth which caused the leer. Long gone now. His name was Ulysses.
Nah, the tinting from the film or paper the image was printed on pretty clearly ages it to somewhere between the very late 60s through very, very early 80s, at most.
Guessing 1960-1970’s. Looks like my moms bathroom decor. Kitties loved to hang out in the old bathroom sinks to stay cool . Air conditioning was a luxury item .
Yup. My mom had a light blue sink in the bathroom. In the summer, we would find the orange floof all balled up in the sink, and we would need to go to the kitchen to wash our hands after using the bathroom. 🐈🧡

They never had us do up the end of the roll, though. I know Molly Maid used to do that.
It's a thing 😸

No peace out baby, no peace out.
And the judge!

* I can’t do “ur,” I just can’t, 😉👋🏽.
🤮😬
I was a child then and, believe me, that style was literally everywhere. Ask your own grandparents.
Everywhere
The most objectionable thing is that flooring. Unless it‘s actually laminate, wood isn’t a great choice for a bathroom.
Love the kitty in the sink🤪

I remember that as a kid.
Most likely mid-late 70s, really.
