Either I can't see it anymore or they removed the tag, if it helps

It's always upset me that the Disco Demolition Night was shitty and racist cause it would have been an awesome name for a disco night

I rewatched this last year and agree about the salience. It's (maybe) even more relevant to the past decade than it has been at any time other than it's release. And because of that the comedy lands so much harder

They really just heard someone say "we're just arguing semantics here" and thought it was a great idea

If you've ever seen "Veep", its the same creator. In fact, Veep was a direct American adaptation of The Thick of It. They just changed it so much that it's unrecognisable (and it fits US politics so much better)

The way she's leaning in to the cat she looks like a Disney princess at the recitative slow section just as the song begins

They heard "power comes from a mandate from the masses" and decided to willfully misconstrue

Also I'm 100% on banning anyone arguing about how many "post-"s we add on to modern ever again

I started reading, started to disagree (cause I love a send-up), and was slowly won over by your review. Then I looked up and realised you gave it the same 3 star rating as I did. 5/5 movies are 5/5 movies, regardless if they're high art or not, and this isn't a 5/5 movie

FYI, you have a typo in the headline, should be characters. Hate to be "that guy" but it's your site so will help with clicks

The Guardian has fantastic investigative reporting and how do we protect it

It's basically asking every Muslim if they condemned al-qaeda after 9/11. It should be assumed that everyone does until, like anyone else, they say something that proves they don't. Ask away to a politician but to put that on the general population is unacceptable

That makes a lot more sense

I'm in Glasgow. You can buy it at like 50% of the restaurants that do pizza, and almost every pub that does pizza

It definitely is by coding it manually, but having that limit be configurable in the same way it is now probably wouldn't be, although maybe the user's setting is available with an app password. Still wouldn't be available as a feed in the same way though.

1) This is gorgeous 2) What's the angled mirror above your keyboard for? Can you learn from watching your hands like that?

An option to algorithmically increase the limit based on number of followers would be great but I don't know how that option could be clearly explained in the settings

All the other posts on my for you list change when I refresh except for this which stays at the bottom. It's starting to feel like bsky is using it as a slur

Desiccated is not a word I wanted to think about in this context

If its a one-off donation, I think I'd be more likely to donate again if the email they sent out was 6 or 12-monthly, cause if I'm getting them every month I'm unsubscribing, but a reminder about them every year or so would be great

It's kind of insane, in the UK no shops are *only* self-checkout. A smaller supermarket has 2-3 and a large one has maybe 10, then there is also regular checkouts. The self-checkout doesn't reduce staff but it decreases waiting time for those with less items

Apparently these tricks still get told via word of mouth in school playgrounds - all of them are the same ones we heard but for literally every new game

Those magazines always seemed to last exactly 3 issues before they went under, I remember there being a million build a robot ones
