I don’t think so

So that’s the price he is prepared to pay for survival on our only planet?

Or it could be to expose their incompetence in the most high profile way?

Could he tell me what Brexit done properly actually is? As far as I can remember we voted to leave, which we did. There was nothing else on the ballot paper

For the haves, like Tice, I imagine Dubai is wonderful, but the vast majority of people are not in this bracket and never will be. What about us? We are just drones for the likes of him. Disgusting.

Who the f*** is advising him? I thought he was reasonably intelligent but this is beyond belief. The people that watch GBeebies would never vote for him, no matter what he does. Why is he prostituting himself for this. What about the people who voted for him in good faith? Appalling!

When do you arrest Trump and Musk then?

Because they have be told, relentlessly, by the media that the immigration problem everywhere. There is also some NIMBYism going on, they think the ‘immigrant swarms’ will flood in and destroy their bit of little England.

The media fail time and again to highlight this so the majority of people don’t realise the level of hypocrisy they exhibit. They have to be ‘fair’ but in doing so have allowed lies to become truth. 1984 was their blueprint and they have exceeded expectations.

Not going to happen whist the media is owned and controlled by billionaires and oligarchs. He is being allowed to further their agenda.

What’s he doing with his hands?

Of course the shareholders have agreed, they care only for themselves, we should expect no other, but I am disappointed with Labour allowing it to happen after the disastrous outcomes from every other privatisation. Disappointed = disgusted, appalled, angry

But beneficial to who? This just fuels Trump's delusions and isolates the UK from its allies. Then Trump turns around and craps on any deal we make with him, he has form, leaving us adrift and diminished
comment in response to post
For all the outrage and derision he attracts I wonder how many people hiding behind their curtains will vote for him whilst laughing at him. Total hypocrisy

So we put barriers in the way of our biggest, closest market to cow tow to a man child who only thinks of himself? Canada has played a good game without demeaning itself. History has proven that you can’t appease someone like him. He will cave to strong leadership. This isn’t that.
comment in response to post
The problem is that supporting one will be seen as support for the other. He will spin this as ‘bigley support for the Donald’ which will achieve his handlers aim, a weakened Europe. A cool distance, yes, but not arse licking sycophancy. Canada has shown the way, are we too stubborn to follow?
comment in response to post
The only path now is total humiliation for Trump and all his sycophants. They need to be shown for what they are so that the MAGA cult members will realise what he is. It needs his own turning on him. Don’t give him a way out, but of course they will.
comment in response to post
If this travesty happens no one should turn up. no MPs or Lords. Leave him talking to an empty room. Only the sycophants will turn up so we will know who to ignore/ridicule

He’s seen Israel get away with this argument and is now using it himself, despicable. When will our politicians grow a spine and call this out and work harder to stop it!

What size ‘donation’ has he given to keep his membership?

Whilst I think I see what you are getting at I would question who the EU is defending itself against? Ukraine, with support, has stalled the Russian war machine, surely the combined EU forces could, at least, do the same. So what other threats are we anticipating? Genuine question

Can these people not use a dictionary? Why are they trying to redefine a word because they can’t accept the fact that they are nasty people and want to try to label empathetic, caring people as in some way faulty because they haven’t got the imagination to invent their own word?
comment in response to post
Read your Sinclair Lewis. He predicted this in the 30’s and here you are.

When this is all over how will these people live with themselves? They should be ashamed or are they such zealots they don’t feel these sort of normal emotions?
comment in response to post
MPs can sit on a Saturday for the steel industry, vital as it is and the jobs that go with it, and make provision to privatise it; but when it comes to water and electricity etc, which affects us all, they do little to nothing. If ever a sector needed privatising it is this!
comment in response to post
Good grief, are these people really that stupid or are they so far up the orange ones arse they can’t see reality?

Which 4 US states would Witkoff wish to cede to the Russians?

When this crap is over and Trump is gone and the sh1t hits the fan what is going to happen to these people? Will they regret their life choices or will their actions be swept under the carpet? Trump has such a lot to answer for not least of all the lives he is destroying.

And not a drag queen amongst them, strange that

Don’t the ‘hard working American people’ realise that the jobs they think they are promised will be done by robots leaving them with nothing but debt and delusion?
comment in response to post
How naive can she be. He will slap tariffs on us no matter what we do. Wouldn’t it be better to look after us rather than pander to a lying maniac who will renege on any deal he makes when it becomes more advantageous to him?
comment in response to post
How much money has Musk promised them if they don’t publicly humiliate him? Not a good look

I knew this would happen and said as much in a post yesterday. This is the parliamentary equivalent of sticking your head in the sand whilst sing la la la with your fingers in your ears. (Love a mixed metaphor or two)

All those trained ex military personnel pissed of with Trump. What could possibly go?

Problem is many won’t read past the headline which implies the whole thing was Zelensky’s fault for not wearing the appropriate apparel. Doesn’t matter what you say after that nor how good/fair it is the opportunity is lost and the bias towards Trump et al is reinforced.
