Post a ship that’s not Star Wars or Star Trek.
So say we all!

Heh. I remember NPR interviews of Arab-descent people around the Detroit area who supported T because Harris hadn't come out completely against Israel/for Gaza.
I wanted to scream at the radio.

Now, the last few refreshes of Youtube... I've been greeted by ads for tumblers celebrating #47.
Sigh.
I guess it just goes to show, my interests are just SO obscure, nobody advertises for them.

"...having to pay for every work used would stifle development of a paradigm-changing technology."
Let it be stifled.
Large-scale language models have their place, but creating "art" for profit isn't one.

Amazing that, with the proliferation of cameras, that there aren't any better leads.

OK, sorry, I didn't read any threads from his side.
Ugh, asshole through and through.

Same kind of humor as when, six or so years ago, I marked myself as safe from being chosen for the Trump cabinet.
Sad gallows humor is the best some of us can come up with of late.
With that said, my answer will always be, "I certainly won't object if you do." 😀

I would respond that it's good that he knows how God feels about him.
Before blocking him, of course. I'm not a total idiot.

You’ll probably see that they ARE dicks.
Of one gender or another.

The ONLY reason I haven't switched over to Linux full-time is I can't play my games.
It used to be that Linux was complicated enough that my other work took too much effort. BUT... MS is making Windows less user friendly.
That from a family who has worked for MS (one or both of us) for ~25 years.

This was... 10-15 years ago.
Years of high school debate, plus a liberal arts college education, gave me a... selective... taste in news. Think Woodward, Bernstein, Cronkite, etc.

For some reason, I've never been impressed by Newsweek as "Journalism." I received a gift subscription for one year, and because I'm anal and can't receive a magazine without reading it, I tried.
I tried.
I finally gave up before the year was over.
And didn't feel the least bit bad about it.

Not quite to this level, but in summer of 2022, I stopped by one of my grad school friends while bringing our son home from college. Got somewhat of the same feeling from him, commented to my son after that he's not the same man I knew. Sad how these things happen.

I'm disgusted that anything like this is happening in the United States... hell, ANYWHERE in the world.

I wonder every once in a while how you can make ends meet. I also make sure that, when those Kickstarters come up, I'm supporting extravagantly. :-)

Looks like my fault. I obviously don't spend nearly enough time on social media, to have just seen this.
(Oh, I'm sorry if I just broke anyone's sarcasm-ometers. I sometimes forget how strong I'm laying it on. 😁)

What TIME? Would be a good Pinned Post on the FNFF account... (hint, hint)

Yeah, that post was a poor take. I specifically waited for the new COVID shot because it was going to be more-relevant to Now vs. Then.
Just got mine six days ago.

The "drive back" was particularly bad for me, because I had ridden my motorcycle to SW Idaho, and had full gear on... so sitting still, in heavy gear, in 90+F weather.
Still worth it. :-)
