even before ai was trying to soak into everything. i was always met with "go google it" from people. it's a shame cause i find learning more engaging with others only to typically be met with disinterest in being spoken to about say djing

That's why this keeps happening.
Nobody's training a robot to be a thing - they're taking a robot that loosely memorized all of 4chan, and trying to put barriers in place to make it take your McDonald's order.

So that explains why Gumroad has a bunch of AI slop and copyright infringing content. For example, I saw a listing selling official Naruto books for $5 that was obviously listed there without credit to and permission from Kishimoto and Viz Media.
