Today’s war in Iran, started by America, can be traced to the 1953 war in Iran, also started by America. Back then America wanted oil. Mostly for their motorists. And with the Straits of Hormuz soon to be blocked, oil prices will rise and rise. Nativist imperialism is nothing if not stupid.

Pretty sure America just went to war because nobody liked Donald Trump's military parade.

EXCLUSIVE — The Onion has a full-page ad in today’s NYT featuring part of an editorial calling out congressional fecklessness towards Trump. They also sent a copy of their latest issue to every lawmaker. My report, with an excerpt from the full editorial: www.thehandbasket.co/p/exclusive-...

This scary archive piece assumes that Russia will be the first to launch nuclear weapons. Given that Anti-war Trump is now Trigger Happy Trump is that a still a sound assumption?

Really confusing these days trying to navigate the American fascist state

“I’m sorry, Dave. I’m afraid I can’t do that.”
