What is art going to become, now that GenAI can do almost anything?

I enjoy playing around and animating with After Effects

Look how defeated Samus looks in this clip from Metroid Prime 3.

Watching gamers figure out the whole inflation thing with game prices has been fascinating, makes me realise that different gaming eras have totally different experiences. We played and replayed those old hard games until we got good because games were expensive.

This is how I generally refer to the 12 Principles of Animation when teaching to new students. What do you think of the updated language I use?

Here's the fish you can catch so far in our upcoming game REELaxation, and there's secret fish and also some junk you can catch, as well! #indiedev #indiegame #animation #gameanimation

My Twitter account is basically dead. 16K followers and I get zero engagement with posts, not that I got particularly high engagement anyway, especially if you don't play the game.

◁ Welcome To Real Life Lip sync performance exercise with animation students (also using pose-match) [SOUND ON]

Anyone remember Battle Chess?

Crazy that this is from a Disney short in 1954. It has all the angular and interpretive elements of UPA and Warner Bros.

Okay Rockstar, well done on the seagulls

A collection of 'pose match' animation exercises I did with students.

Never realised the similarities between Bill Farmer and Charles Martinet before..

Hell yeah, new Ecco the Dolphin, baby!!

Incredible animated documentary from 1918 by Winsor McCay of Gertie the Dinosaur fame. This 12-minute film took 2 years to make and consisted of 25,000 drawings.

Spending some time rebuilding Toxic Seahorse's main attacks and moves for an animation study (and, ultimately, fix).

Something that's easier to do in 2D animation than 3D animation?

Me playing Mario 64 in 1999 and Mega Man Battle Network 3 in 2004

Yeah this looks smooth as hell

This looks really interesting

Trying out my new StickyBones rig by animating your class walk cycle

Game looks awesome, just curious about the way those arms kinda snap back when pushing the wheels forward, when all the other animations are real smooth?

Well there was a LOT of cool stuff in today's Direct! Jesus...

I think this is why I like having green-screen sections in my latest videos, as I'm able to demonstrate things like this a little easier that I can't always find the words for with speech and visuals only, I very much like to perform things for clarity.

I love animating lightning

A couple of 1-hour animation jump-pose challenges I did with students. That second one was REALLY hard to work in out in one hour, but a great challenge to think about.

I LOVE how authentic Mr Ring-A-Ding is looking from the new Doctor Who trailer! Just look at the aged colour shifting on his close up!
