ROCOR in particular, but also many in the OCA.

This is why I can't watch CNN in the evening anymore. In their effort to be "balanced" they put on the most ignorant MAGA partisans.

Congress must step up and assert their constitutional authority over the imposition of tariffs. We cannot allow him to continue to make arbitrary and irrational decisions that affect the international economy.

It was so blatantly obvious. I donāt know if the outcome would have been different had Biden not run for re-election. But the fact that he did guaranteed a Trump victory. This is on Biden.

Thatās what I suspect. They donāt look like real law enforcement officers. More like mall cop rejects.

Do we even know if theyāre law enforcement? Iām worried that theyāre deputizing Proud Boys, 3 Percenters, neonazis, etc.

How they can see him as anything but the Antichrist is beyond me.

I've been a Civil War buff since childhood; I've read hundreds of books on the war, including Shelby Foote's massive three-volume work. But it was only about five years ago that I learned of the Cornerstone speech by CSA VP Alexander Stephens. More Southerners should know about it.

This has been very much on my mind lately. I will likely make a couple of purchases for a upgraded refractor and go to mount, to avoid the coming tariffs and production issues.

I hear it's going around. I don't think there's a cure.

That will be so cool, to see images from the Moon during a lunar eclipse! (Or would that be a solar eclipse, from the viewpoint of the Moon?)š¤

Interesting article. I may have missed it, but in all of the talk of sending humans to Mars, I've not read anything about "returning [them] safely to Earth" as Kennedy put it before Congress in May 1961 (the line that Buzz Aldrin says was his favorite). Is it to be a one-way trip, a suicide mission?

All this talk of sending humans TO Mars, but Iāve yet to hear him say anything about āreturning them safely to the Earth.ā Heās planning a one-way trip, a suicide mission.

We live on such a beautiful planet. I hope we never grow bored with images of it.

I followed this mission closely for years - and I'm very excited to see these results. It's almost as if these asteroids are "seeds of life" in the cosmos!

So serene! There is something deeply magical about snow. The stillness in the air, the glow at night as light is reflected off of it. It really does lead to an inner peace.

Clouds here now for the weekend. But I put my binoviewers on my telescope last night and saw wonderful views of Venus, Saturn (my fav), and Jupiter!

Same for me. It looks so much like ours in so many ways. I have no doubt we will eventually go there and explore. But I do not believe we will ever live there. This is our Home.
