MMR vax does have some potential for side effects, and I wanted to avoid that risk if not needed. Mom also told me that I had measles as a kid, and I’m not sure how that affects immunity.

Not sure, as I did it with a bunch of other labs that were partly covered by my shitty insurance. Like $100 total out of pocket but most of that is surely for other labs.

Even better, get a measles titer test to check your immunity. I just checked mine and it’s great, so no need for another MMR vaccine.
