Amp is up to 11, to drown out the pain at 10. Would love a pint of Guinness. She/her because trolls assume that women don’t garden.

My partner requested respite for him. Adult social care offered to put me in a care home. It’s devastating me, mentally.

Fantastic album! I drew the cover when I was about 15.

And for me education. If it wasn’t for DLA/PIP I wouldn’t have been able to do 2 law degrees.

I saw them around 1987/88, doing lots of coke too. My friend is a podium dancer and has just performed with them. She wasn’t born when I saw them!

I do! I watched him with Alba, and became very invested.

That’s heartbreaking. Just really upsetting. To hit a dog with a gold club and bend the club, must have done with force. And it’s known that people who abuse animals then abuse people.

Those sweatshops also produce clothing for bigger brands and chains.

Yes, and these sweatshops make clothing for bigger labels.

In Canada, disabled people are being offered MAID instead of support or healthcare. The Netherlands are using AD on children. We need better palliative care, better pain management and more support.

60% of those who died were disabled. We shielded and are still shut out of life. Since 2010, disabled people have had rights, care & support stripped away more than any other demographic. Expensive cancer drugs refused, treatments withdrawn; benefits suspended or sanctioned when too ill to work.

During the 1st lockdown, Boris Johnson & Cummings had a meeting where they marked the board ‘who do we save?’. People with autism & intellectual disabilities had DNRs placed on their records without discussion. NICE issued a frailty scale to decide who did/didn’t receive treatment.

Except it does affect people with disabilities. Cancer is a disability, and terminal illness is a disability. I will not tolerate your ableism. I suggest you watch Liz Carr’s documentary, especially regarding MAID.

Plenty of non disabled people talk over us.

We would like social care & support. Coercion & feeling a burden are genuine concerns. Oh & there’s a brilliant documentary by Liz Carr explaining this, instead of me repeatedly doing so. Disabled people have been the subject of diminishing rights over the last 14 yrs. We’ve just reasons of concerns

So you’ll talk over the concerns of disabled people, & their clinicians… AD in other countries has been extended to other health & socio-economic conditions. A terminal diagnosis is difficult to determine by length; disabled people would like dignity in living, with palliative care universal…

And the cost of someone having an assisted death? We shouldn’t be valuing the lives of a disabled person as less than that of a non disabled person. 6 out of 10 deaths from Covid were disabled persons. We were screaming this from the rooftops.
comment in response to post
But that shouldn’t be happening. It’s discriminatory, and likely to breach the ECHR. We’re a developed world but have an underfunded NHS.
comment in response to post
We aren’t in battlefield situations. We live in a society with a right to life and freedom from inhuman treatment. Disabled people aren’t worth less! Your rhetoric shows you’re deeply ableist.

So why has it been extended to people with MND, heart disease, MS, Parkinsons, CTD?
