At least you get your grant reviewed more fairly than before but, yes, it's on your shoulders to do the work to achieve that. And that's not fair at all. I'm sorry you've had this experience. This is a case where public peer review would deter such poor conduct. Anonymity is a shield to hide behind.

This is the kind of thing which needs to be addressed systematically. What are our reasonable expectations of grant reviewers? Have they complied with those expectations? If not, what recourse do we have and how should we seek accountability from them?

One of the coolest things it does is align molecules on a common substructure. It's so useful if you want to visualise differences. www.rdkit.org/docs/Getting...

Very much agree. Pretty it is not. Functional, it is (with a bit of work). If I want pretty molecules I export them to SVG. I tried to work out how to do that directly from rdkit. It's one of the buggy things I ran into.

Consortium not condition
comment in response to post
Oh, it's absolutely what rdkit is meant to do. But it's a massive package and written for free by a condition of mostly end users. And, as with any Python library, there's several different ways to do everything and each has it's own bugs and glitches.

The problem here might not be with ChatGPT. I've had a lot of trouble trying to get rdkit to produce nice drawings off molecular structures. Particularly in a grid like this is meant to be.

No. The meaning is crystal clear if you want to read it again.

I think you've answered your own question.

Do you believe that a man, regardless of identity, has the right to share a changing room with my daughters?

I'm a biologist, analytical chemist, environmental scientist, father to two girls, green party exile, husband, son, uncle, etc. I'm just another human being who doesn't like to see women and girls being bullied and oppressed.

Pretending that this hasn't been known since the dawn of time is why you are losing.

Literally no one believes this.

Sex is biological. It is based on the binary forms of gametes we produce. Women are defined as female because, at sexual maturity, they produce large, immobile gametes. Men are male because they produce small, mobile gametes.

The EHRC guidance is based on the supreme court decision. It is a summary of the law. Any legal action will have to explain how they have misinterpreted the supreme court's judgment, which will obviously fail because they haven't.

I suggest you reread paras 211 to 221 again, slowly and carefully. I will quote from the end of Para 218: “Read fairly and in context, the provisions relating to single-sex services can only be interpreted by reference to biological sex.”
comment in response to post
I'm glad you've shared that, because I've read it too. I assumed it was too heavy going and a precis from an eminent lawyer would be easier to understand. However, if you think this doesn't explicitly mandate single sex spaces then I think you've misunderstood the judgement.

I'm very excited. Looking forward to meeting you too, Tri.

You seem to think that word means something. It may have once but the current use simply indicates someone who doesn't immediately & completely affirm every claim transactivists make, regardless of how absurd or injust. So, a majority of the population. d3nkl3psvxxpe9.cloudfront.net/documents/Se...

You seem to have missed the Supreme Court ruling that women are adult human females for the purpose of the Equality Act 2010 and it is perfectly legal to exclude men from eg. Candidate shortlists to provide equality of opportunity for women.
