Even they didn’t though, not at the level Trump does. No one in the Democratic Party has ever fought dirty like Trump, no one has ever touted their own accomplishments, and that’s ALL Trump does. We are just completely uneven in how we communicate, it has to change.

Been thinking about that so much - it’s all PR & we have none. Obama never did any selling of himself, his policies sometimes but not himself. Biden did neither really & that’s only what Trump does. PR PR all day every day, he’s selling himself so he takes up all the space. We have no exp at it.

That was exactly my thought! He never liked going to the summits and forums because they weren’t all about him and it was just boring policy stuff all day. He has no attention span for that. Unless they were squiring him around and bringing him McDonald’s, he has no interest in foreign policy.

That’s been my biggest takeaway of the Trump years too. Democrats don’t do PR. Even the greatest orator in our party ever didn’t sell himself, he sold hope/change, etc but not himself. Hillary & Kamala didn’t and obviously Biden didn’t. And that’s all Trump does. We have to, going forward. Have to.
