What a great, laugh out loud episode. As soon as I finish this El Dorado word search, I am heading out to buy a pound of mutton!

What does Joan Chitty have to say about this? We demand answers.

This is brilliant, and depressingly plausible.

Go Marina! Thank you for speaking out about what for many of us is obvious, but for others can never be said. We cannot be impartial about genocide.

What a corker! Great episode. I thought that Lee Waters came across as a real person.

Yet when discussing people struggling on in-work benefits, state pension, and other benefits, the narrative is always 'there's no real poverty in a country like the UK; they've all got Sky TV. They should budget better'.
I could weep!

Great episode. Kudos to your guest for coming on, but I felt that he came across as muddled and inarticulate. Not a great advert for the Welsh Tories.

He also has a major undertaker vibe.

I wasn't ignoring it. It was clear at the time that Scunthorpe was also under threat. Labour governments London and in Cardiff treated calls for nationalisation as outlandish and unpalatable at the time.
Now it's flavour of the month (when English jobs are at stake).

Plaid was ridiculed on the Senedd by the First Minister for even contemplating privatisation as a solution.
Now it's the UK government's policy. Righto.
The Welsh government seems to have a death wish and cannot stop alienating its base in Wales.

Yeah. Funny that. Can't imagine why they were treated so differently. Oh, hang on a minute!

Yn union!

Yes. Can't imagine why Port Talbot was dispensable, and Scunthorpe isn't.
Oh hang on a minute. One is in Wales and the other in England...
Precious union? Hmmm.

Yes, mistakes on Welsh signage are annoying, especially in the private sector where Welsh is often italicised or in a smaller font.
The public sector has made great strides in Welsh provision, but the private sector has largely ignored Welsh- we should legislate some form of compulsion.

An opportunity? She has been convicted based on the evidence submitted at her trial.
That makes her unfit for office. End of.

My toes have refused to uncurl since I saw this last week.
For our FM to reserve judgment on the impact of these changes implies that she knows nothing about the demographics and economic situation of Wales.
Wales will be disproportionately affected due to our dire socio-economic situation.

Whoever sat on my mum's left would invariably win.
Her vocabulary was off the scale but she would put words down wherever she pleased, without a care for giving a triple word score opportunity for the next player.

Realpolitik is calling out Trump. If we don't it will come back and bite us.
We can neither appease Putin nor Trump.
The inability for politicians to state honest truth is undermining trust in politics. Look at what Carney is doing in Canada.
comment in response to

I think that the government calling out Trump's behaviour for what it is would do wonders for their popularity. They just look timid and mealy mouthed.
Our friends have always been in Europe. America has always acted out of self interest.

Yep. They have continued to evolve in the most fascinating way. Went to see them on their last tour but Twickenham is a rubbish venue and the sound was poor. But at least I got to see them again having last seen them at Wembley Arena in the 90s.

OMG. I watched this film on Saturday. It really stands the test of time. Walter Matthau was brilliant. It was a fascinating snapshot of 1970s New York.
Haven't bothered with the remake. Dog Day Afternoon is next on my list.

NO. WE. CAN'T.
Meanwhile, the Skipton report shows that Ceredigion is the least affordable place anywhere in the UK to buy a house, with only 2.7% of the local population being able to afford to buy based on their income.
This madness has to stop.

Yep. There is also a linguistic element where Welsh- speaking communities are being decimated by second homes.
The communities with the highest incidence are mostly Welsh speaking.
This is a problem we have to face as many of these properties are owned by Welsh people.
comment in response to

This is now established policy in many parts of Wales and it is having an impact.
However there is a loophole: increase does not apply if your house is on the market- so there many houses 'for sale' at inflated prices: they will never have an offer.
Hopefully will deter future 2nd home buyers.

It was toe curling. Bell has had a complete personality and intellect transplant. I cannot imagine what the people of Swansea West make of him.
His soul visibly departed his body during this interview. Ugh.

Yeah, because he has a mortgage, no doubt on a property in a Georgian square in London, and subsidised housing in his Welsh constituency.
Young people can only dream of owning a property.
The rentier class reborn.

Just wait until you get to Paddington...
The gate line staff there exude hostility. Got lots of luggage and a dog? No, we won't open the gate for you. You have to use the barcode on your eticket.
They are without exception rude and hostile and seem to presume that everyone is a fare dodger

Why doesn't the SNP get more attention for implementing progressive policies within the confines of a restricted devolution settlement?
They are combating policies like winter fuel cuts, bedroom tax, and 2 child benefit cap.
Scotland is the only part of UK where child poverty is decreasing
