They are avoiding ice cream so they don't look gay.
I avoid ice cream because I'm lactose intolerant.
We are not the same.
(Well, I'm also not a boy, but for the sake of the joke, set that aside.)

We're cool. We were talking past each other.
This about vaginal fluids being estrogenizing is absolutely new, afaik. I was trying to say that being all sour-grapes about not getting off and ascribing mystical power to semen have a history. (The latter was satirized in Dr. Strangelove, after all.)

Okay. That's fine.

But the first I heard it, for the record, was in anti-masterbation discourse circa 2009. The phrase semen retention wasn't codified by then, but it was the same argument.

I don't know what post the other day you are talking about. This is a line of thinking I've seen around for quite some time now, not just from grifting influencer types, but from their more earnest followers. But okay, I don't need you to believe me.

I mean, many actually do think that semen retention makes you more manly.

Fwiw, Mudora *is legal* in Speed Duel. (Keldo is not, though.)

God... I loved the Ishizu cards... They remind me so much of old-school, single card threats, like Brealer or Kycoo in Goat format.

Please bring this up on the podcast! I beg you!

That makes this so much funnier.

I will confess a potential bias. I am not a terribly happy person, so what seems subjectively happy, funny, or uplifting *to me* might seem less so to others. I would not be offended if you concluded that this made my suggestions invalid (not that I'd find out).

Movies:
You've seen the 'Barbie' movie, right? It was good.
'See how they run' was a fun new take on Agatha Christie's works.
Next, more of a farce/black comedy, but I enjoyed "Drive Away Dolls" a lot (maybe just because I'm gay). I think it is uplifting, but it is poking fun at darker tropes.

Reservations:
*POV character of Komi (Tadano) has some weird insecurities about gender. It becomes clearer later that this is intentional and not a bias of the author.
**Season 1 of Devil has some annoying fanservice. This stops in season 2. I suspect they realized their audience is mainly female.

"Komi Can't Communicate" is a fantastically empathetic and fun show about a nonverbal girl (probably autistic) trying to make friends and community.*
"The Devil is a Part Timer" is a fun sitcom about Satan being stuck in a human body on earth, trying to get good marks at work.**

Isn't that just *all* mirrors?
(Given how selective human perception is.)

Weirdly timed. I just got muted in a group on a different website for saying that the term Doll isn't exclusively used by 'transmedicalists obsessed with passability politics', but also by people like me who get gatekept by them.
(You look stunning, btw.)

What the fuck!?!
....I don't think I can overstate how formative that movie was for me. It remains one of my absolute favorites.
I already thought your tattoos were cool. But somehow this one had escaped my notice up until now. 😅

Immediately, I am consumed by shame for not thinking to connect this more directly to your previous posts by making it like a "nightshade plant girlfriend" joke instead...

There's gotta be a market for "poison dart frog girlfriend" erotica.
