If students: 1. Didn't need to fork over thousands of dollars to get an education 2. Didn't need to worry about having post collegiate financial security Fewer students would opt for the "easy" route. It wouldn't solve it, but it would remove the existential stress.

I really like the article. From a top-down societal standpoint, disconnecting financial security from education would be a good start. (Some) Players already self select out of exploits by wanting to play the game as intended since the goal is fun. But financial incentives ruin this.

Both are a part of a trilogy. And you absolutely need to let me know when you finish Children of Ruin (Time's sequel) 👀 I've never seen any of the Alien movies, but a novelisation just might be my ticket into that universe (I've never been a movie person).

I also picked reading back up as a hobby earlier this year. I highly recommend Children of Time by Adrian Tchaikovsky. Such a wonderful book. I'm currently reading The Fifth Season by N. K. Jemisin. I'll take anyone's recommendations!
