Anxiety is worrying about the future, depression is worrying about the past.
My grandfathers fought fascism in their time, and we must fight it in our time because democracy is worth fighting for.

I think this regime canceling the midterm elections is a forgone conclusion. Trump has zero intention of ever leaving the White House this time.

Well, as he always says if Democrats didn't steal the 2020 election, or if his insurrection worked, he would've been Potus and Russia wouldn't have attacked Ukraine, and Israel wouldn't have bombed Gaza into ruins. But I'm sure he'll have a solution to all of these issues in about 2 weeks.

What ever happened to his promise of no taxes on tips and no taxes on overtime? I guess we'll have to wait 2 weeks just like everything else.

Lankford still doesn't realize that the Republican party that he grew up with ceased to exist the day the Senate did not vote to convict Trump in his SECOND impeachment trial for his insurrection. Today's Republican party is just a cult of personality & they chose the dumbest mfer to lead their cult

"Followers?" You mean cult members

We can also blame Mitch McConnell for not having the stones to convict Trump at his SECOND impeachment trial and for his abject hypocrisy in regards to SCOTUS picks.

Democrats have tried to compromise with Trump and his MAGA cult in Congress. What did Einstein say about doing the same thing over and over and expecting different results? There is no compromise with the MAGA cult. It's their way or nothing else. Fuck that.

"Concepts" of great deals in 2 weeks. He always pushes it 2 weeks further because he always does something even crazier every 2 weeks, so the media focuses on the new crazy every 2 weeks.

He is absolutely OK with Democrat members of Congress being arrested and jailed indefinitely.

You forgot the biggest badge which is using the office of the presidency to gain an obscene amount of wealth by selling everything from shoes to "gold citizenship cards" at $5 million each.

So apparently, being a "socialist" is a crime now?

Every day, Democrats need to go on camera and hammer home the abject hypocrisy of these Republican "states rights absolutists." They are attempting to re-litigate the American Civil War. History repeats, and when dictators come to absolute power, citizens crush their power eventually and absolutely.

Add Lil Jemmy Jordan in Ohio to that list. It's probably one of the most gerrymandered districts in the nation.

It's almost like the only amendment in the Constitution they care about is the 2nd when it took 10 minutes to reload a musket. They go ahead and skip the 1st amendment and the Establishment Clause.

Many Russian government planes are heading east this morning. Putin is going to pull a false flag operation against his own people, blame Ukraine and the west for arming Ukraine, and nuclear weapons will be used for the first time since 1945.
comment in response to

It's Putins war of aggression against the sovereign nation of Ukraine. It's not Zelenskys war either. He didn't fire the 1st shots & try to take Moscow in 3 days, & it certainly is not Biden's fault. All of those Russian planes heading east today signals that Putin is going to pull a false flag op.

The Founders specifically put "separation of church and state" in the Constitution because of all of the wars that had ravaged the European continent that were essentially wars of one religion against another religion. They did not want that happening in the US, hence the Establishment Clause.

Man, I wish we had more governors like Governor Walz. Democrats go into public service to actually help people, while Republicans go into public service to enrich themselves and their donors.

And it looks exactly like that in red districts across the nation.

The MAGA cult are not smart enough to understand that Trumps policies will hurt them, too. They just voted for him so he would hurt other people, not them. They think bc they buy his NFTs, watches, shoes, and meme coins, he wouldn't dare do anything to harm them. That's the problem with cults.

Yes, it happened in the 1950s when corporate tax rates were 50% and tax rates on the top 1% were 50.6%. We built bridges, interstate roads, airports, etc. and corporations, and the wealthy still made plenty of money. Maybe only 1 mansion or 1 yacht, not like now where they have 5 mansions & 5 yachts

Thank you, Rep. Raskin. Millions of Americans will be kicked off of Medicaid unless Democrats like you stand up for ALL Americans Democrat or Republican because this bill will affect people who voted for the felon thinking his policies would only hurt others, not them and their families.

I'm pretty sure Trumps Sec of State Mike Pompeo had negotiations with the Taliban about the withdrawal date. He had those discussions without the actual Afghan government at the negotiating table. Trump & Pompeo agreed with the Taliban on a withdrawal date & Trump also released 5000 Taliban fighters

He has the syphilitic brain of a 3 yr old. In his demented mind, he can do no wrong. Everything is "the best, biggest, most beautiful" thing the world has ever seen. Not 1 single Republican with a spine will call out his BS. We're about to have 79 million ppl kicked off Medicaid & he's loving it.

Oh, he's not feeling miserable, his brain lacks the capacity for shame, regret, empathy etc. He's a psychopath and his plan is to lock us all in the US and start rounding up people who aren't loyal to him. People thinking midterm elections in 2026 are happening are deluding themselves.

Netanhatyu and Trump are going to build Trump Tower Gaza. That's the plan. That's why Israel is not allowing food and medicine into Gaza to kill off the people that live there, so they can build a luxury resort on the Mediterranean with Trumps name on it. Trump Med-a-Lago or Trump Gaz-A-Lago.

One day, ICE agents are going to break down someone's door at 6 am, and that person will be a card-carrying NRA member with firearms hidden throughout their home, and people are going to get killed bc ICE went to the wrong address. They are the American Gestapo, and they need to be reined in.

Conservatives like Reagan wouldn't understand what these MAGA cult "conservatives" are doing. The Republican party since ceding authority to Trumpism is no longer conservative, especially not fiscally conservative. Trump, in his 1st term, added 1/4 of the debt in the entire history of the US.

Because his presence allows them to be their true racist selves. That's why it's a cult of personality and a cult of demonizing people who are not white. The sad truth is that Trump would never allow his slackjawed yokel supporter from bumfuck Alabama to stay at one of his properties.

Right. Wouldn't it be nice if the racist, fascist, MAGA cult God King would actually make being president his #1 priority instead of grifting & taking bribes from murderers like MBS. Trump will not leave peacefully in 2028, & he'll have his ICE Gestapo to murder protesters & declare martial law.
