I feel this, thanks for the chuckle.

True or not, more competition in this space seems good in general. Though still not fond of self driving technology, can’t get over the idea that someone who hack them and use a group for something destructive.

Day two of that area having collisions in my news feed. Come on start streaking 0 accidents in the area!

No surprise, markets seem happy with this at least for now.

Between the type of touch screen automakers have to favor for their durability, and the time it takes to interact, I've absolutely hated touch screen interactions with vehicles. Bring on the buttons!

It's all a headache. Still, maybe long term this will be better for the global population to more precisely determine how much and where fluoride should come from in order to help with teeth. Overlooking any shorter term challenges over increased cavities and such.

This is how I've felt about all of AppleTV+: plenty of the shows are enjoyable once they are on. But bothering to choose between them, and, alternatives, I would probably never offer up those made by Apple because they aren't the first that I think of.

Ah, well, better they pause and see if it is viable to keep selling them than to make sales and be unable to be sure they can get product to those who paid.

This sort of third party innovation is great to see. No, they haven’t won my business yet. But they are closing in on it since Apple still doesn’t appear to care about situations such as wallets, passport cases, and other flat objects.

Feel like we are working over grocery stores too. Fast food and casual dining seems fine.

AI is getting to be truly incredible.

Feels good when demand naturally returns to pessimism for awhile instead of crashing down to it. Be interesting to see what the next wave of optimism brings.

I imagine that moment to be sort of magical.

Somehow I imagine me and friends being watched closely, for hours and hours of tabletop games, arguing once again over the most pedantic of things.

I somehow imagine it will end up like so many information leaks in the past: maybe life changing for very many, but quickly lost in the amount of issues it causes and boring to consider the ramifications.

Weirdly might be worth my time. Lately I screenshot, crop, go to paste and find it pastes the unedited image. Starting to wonder what's up with iOS these days.

Thinking of trees: financial incentives to plant get them in the ground, but not necessarily kept as the upkeep becomes a consideration. So, then if we want both, a tax incentive or such seems the easiest way to get people to plant and maintain.
comment in response to post
This strikes me like how I’m pro trees, but against cities requiring permits to remove them: I want an ecosystem that encourages planting and retaining trees, not one that encourages people to find loopholes and keep dangerous trees around until or unless they find someone who agrees with them.

I just wish News+ felt like an Apple product: one with good local coverage and was ad-free. Instead of feeling like a poor version of Google News.

Hahaha! A farting mouse!
comment in response to post
If News+ goes ad-free, I’ll subscribe again. Unless that ever happens, I have less issues getting my news basically anywhere else. Doesn’t help the the most relevant local sources never made it onto the service.

Trying to get excited for them, but honestly I think I’m stuck waiting for the release and getting a feel for one to see if it unfolds into a close enough to iPad experience to be useful.

Could be. I got bored of tablets about a week into one years ago and yet here we are with many on the market. For many consumers, they would use a tablet all the time if it fit in their pocket between sessions.

As neat as such glasses might have been, and possibly an improvement over current Apple Vision due to costs, it would have been a miserable experience being tethered to a Mac when you got up and walked away.

Go big on the tags, right? @wilwheaton.net is known for casual MTG a bit.

Doesn’t surprise me, look at the popularity of headphones and now noise cancelling earbuds.

I’m so checked out of gaming culture, so I’m unsure. Probably take a game like Sunflower Land from the play to own genre (NFTs) or a play to earn game (not that I think one could realistically recoup the lost productivity time) to get me to dig in. I wouldn’t put it past a Nintendo IP though

I always think when I read about reducing intake of x, that it is quietly meaning because on average it is replaced with y (usually fruits and vegetables).

Visually, they always made such nice looking brushes that made me want to throw money at them. Reading reviews, pretty sure I’m happier with the results of any other big brand electric toothbrush.

That’s mildly amusing.

Hardware wise, I was never very happy with Nintendo’s Switch. The joycons were a huge let down. Game wise, here I am on a launch console, on something like my 5th set of joycons, and playing Breath of the Wild once again.
comment in response to post
Curious to see if this is a solid hit, or a WiiU.
comment in response to post
Nintendo has long favored cheaper hardware, with something quirky. To me this latest round is quirky alright: connectors that look frail, so instead of merely risking janky joycons to play we can risk our consoles.

Here is hoping it is only a pause, and they roll it out a bit later all the same.

Kicking back and some self care with baking and such are some really good days.

This is why back in the day I cut down to one platform. It wasn't that other platforms didn't have good games, or for that matter better in some genres than the platform I chose, but that I had more games on any given platform I wanted to play than time to dig into them.

Mattel Intellivision is listed on the App Store.

Netflix and how they handle so many shows is why it took me so long to really start spending time on Apple and their shows: a desire not to waste my time on an unfinished and unlikely to be finished product of entertainment.

Now found, set, and errors out when used. Back to square one.

Fleshing out my opinion: The Cubieverse suffers heavily from feeling alone. Lack of structures and distance between them is a notable factor, but so is the lack of interaction with NPCs.
