I played hooky from work one afternoon, going home "sick", and went to see this movie. Stand by that A+ decision

I just read the first novella in a trilogy and when I went to get the 2nd and saw it is $10 I just couldn't pay that for a novella. Then I saw the 3rd one is $15 and I got mad. For novellas!

He went off the rails while starring in a musical of the Merry Wives of Windsor/wild west version. It was playing in Seattle before trying to take it to Broadway. I saw it before they had to shut down & have always wished he made a dramatic mid show exit but no such luck

When people go on about how amazing and miraculous the human body is all I can think is, do you know anything about the human body? Our natural state is a complete mess! We're a discounted temu product held together with a hope and janky glue.

Pope Waffles the 6th - sounds like a fancy name for a raggedy rescue cat 😂

Remember when Hollywood was trying so hard to make him the next big thing? They tried to give him the baton on 2 huge franchises - MISSION IMPOSSIBLE and BOURNE and failed so hard the guy trying to move on said, wait, I'm coming back lol

Yes. But also him standing tall, looking down at Yelena and being vulnerable with his feelings

I hear that. To be fair the big theme of this one is the characters are all isolated & lonely and while marvel does a great job in bringing characters together and having them build close meaningful relationships they never care to move them into romance. I've lost all faith that they will get there

The answer to your question is a big fat no. There is no love interest anywhere to be seen for anyone in this movie. There are two characters who have fantastic chemistry and I'm sure marvel will do nothing about it.

"Why Didn't They Ask Evans?" really is the gold standard. It would be so easy to make Bobby and Frankie annoying but Will Poulter and Lucy Boynton are fantastic

I had tears rolling down my face watching this but if anyone did this to me I would never talk to them again

Will it make me cry? Possibly even ugly cry? That's the feeling I get

Is she going to keep watching it? I've personally lost interest

It's been a lot of years since I've seen it. I'm sure there's plenty of other things that didn't age well, either. It's hard to have nostalgia sometimes

I was thinking about this today and was suddenly all, wait... oh yeah, probably not cool that she never knew it was Sam, not her fiance, she was banging 😬 Oops

The original Quantum Leap had a three ep arc where he leapt into the same woman's life at different points called Trilogy. The 2nd one was the romance and I've always loved it even though it is also a sad ending with him not being able to stay with her

Cats revel in being a tease! My cat from when I was a teen used to hide under the couch whenever my brother brought his dog over but he'd be sure to stick one paw out just a little to drive the dog bonkers

When she sings about him in the musical episode while clutching his watch! 😭😭

I hope everyone laughs directly into his face when he tries to float that he wants the show to suddenly have stakes

I thought FOR SURE the actor must've wanted out. It's the only way it made sense. Wow, what a joke

Just the other day I was thinking of the Agatha Christie book The Mirror Cracked and how horrible people are while going around not knowing they're horrible

I'm surprised Travis never broke out the Madeleine Stowe voice where she sounds like a cartoon horse from the 1940s

Every month I have to send a work email that contains the phrase "it breaks down like so" and my email wants to autofill "my heart" after I type in "it breaks". Thank you outlook, a lot in this world does in fact break me heart but not the expenses on the company visa

"You're chanting, Ray. You're chanting. Satan is good. Satan is our friend." I probably didn't get that exact, but close enough

So far, Red White and Royal Blue vs Strictly Ballroom

There's always at least one pairing that makes me call you nasty names. Sorry

It was so bad. I don't know how they made the action scenes kinda passable when the rest felt like a Z grade knock off version of Star Trek made in some basement warehouse in Lithuania

I didn't go find the comment so I don't know what he said, but it's just so dumb that people have to come at you with a "well, actually" energy when it'd be so easy to say something like, "Baklava, yum! My aunts make it with X and it's sooo good!"

I watched the trailer for this and when I realized this thriller was about math I said, aloud to myself, "What?!"

The only "real" moment I saw was in the finale they were dancing around and singing and he put his hat on backwards, which she noticed, pointed out to him while laughing and he fixed it while also laughing. It was cute

I saw them in The Music Man and thought they had great chemistry. I wish I could say I knew something was up, but I just thought they were having a great time and working well together.

I literally *just* saw that in a book I'm reading that was published in 2021. Not self-published - Hachette.
