We can’t afford to go anywhere near as often as we did back then even for home games. But a home game is a two hour round trip for us 😬. And more often than not it’s M who bows out as it gets eye watering for 3.

That is so true! We had a very lucky existence in the 90’s I will admit that…one benefit of living in a forgotten mining town back then was cheaper living costs. And a slightly cavalier attitude to priorities. It come to an abrupt end with parenthood. But health is one you cannot choose 😞

I wasn’t confident going into it and to be honest outright tried to talk hookid out of going (right smack bang in the middle of his end of year exams) but blues are blues and all that! I’m a little sad KDB has no high to leave on but it has to end somewhere.

I can only advise to try all the usual irritants on repeat whilst watching closely to see if her eye twitches. If it does then you have hit the sweet spot…whatever you were doing must be repeated on a loop…mine caves within 5 minutes whilst muttering about her peace 😁

Oh it is! I find turning their own persistence and consistency works just as well on them. Consistent and persistent whining at the treats at 8pm every night as soon as she sits down…my m can only have her nerves jangled for so long 😉

It certainly is a beautiful room and I hope it gives you that space to recharge when you need it. We have teal in bedroom too and a ‘stronger’ version downstairs. We had sky blue for years….

He goes whenever he’s in town…today just happened to be a match day they were at . 😉 Been few and far between now he’s in North East. Queue were mad though…he managed to get in Vinyl Exchange but didn’t have time to queue again downstairs 😂
