Sword of Hope! I remember I played the second one on 3DS and it was a fun game even if not with much of a wide appeal.

But to be honest I expected this to look way worse. It is quite serviceable image quality-wise and overall it feels like an upgrade. I imagine on XSX and PS5 it is a substantial improvement over original.

I still remember how insanely good it looked on previews and then everyone played the game and was like "ugh, that is not a Shenmue killer people where hyped about".

Still a gorgeous looking game. There is magick that hardly any later entry was able to truly capture.

But what I found most fascinating is the pressure of those high end culture circles. And what makes you a genius or not. It is easy to fold and break your brain as the merit if your work in the end does not make any difference but you are still under pressure to deliver something that feels grand.

The rise of nazis in Poland is not something that I see as a result of voters wanting to punish the current government but as a result of nation-wide incentive of past 10+ years to make them feel comfortable in spewing hate openly. And anyone saying we need to reach out hand and understand is a 🤡

Aside from improved menus and new battle stages I loved the change in colour grading, made the game look more pleasant. Game itself is still solid as despite clumsy writing at times it has that sense of grand adventure you have with your friends. Now it's time for FFV and I think again on GBA.

yeah but will I actually own the game or I just rent it for that price until terms&contiditions change?

I feel like some people act like they never understood the difference between catholic and protestant church. You want progressive church you go to European protestants. Catholicism isn't a world-unifying communist religion. It was the pope who destroyed USSR as the legend says.

But even on smaller scale in my own country - what is happening on the Polish-Belarusian border is a nightmare. People even went to watch en masse a film about that humanitarian atrocity and then 70% agreed that Polish army should have use firearms more freely. I do not have any faith in humanity.

And it is not even the first genocide that happen during my lifetime but when Rwanda and Srebrenica were happening I was too young to comprehend what was happening. Plus we did not had devices that feed us daily horrors (TV back then was tame in comparison)

Grim future for game collectors. I wonder what will happen to all those small games that usually got at least a limited physical release on Switch. Will this be even a thing anymore?

Same. MotW is my favourite fighting game but I refuse to buy this one even if this means SNK will cease to exist. Pity as the game itself does look like thier best effort in years that is diminished by Saudi propaganda.

I love how the whole character crumbles when grounded. Insane idea for a bonus but I miss such insanity in modern games.

I still love VF3tb. Lot of great memories with this one (Aoi is my favourite character) even if I fully understand why it is a bit of a black sheep of the franchise. But just like in case of Sonic Adventures this game will always look like future for me the same as when I saw it the first time.

Given how difference may happen between base game and DLC (RE4 ramake case) I can believe that someone may have made an odd decision here resulting in less impactful HDR.

I remember I have beat first Phantasy Star without drawing a map but honesty having a newer version with automap was a better experience (even if map was a bit too generous with showing all the traps ahead of you) but I like when a game force me to write something down in a notebook once or twice.

That Gamecube demo was more of situation when people had some expectations that have not been met with reveal of Wind Waker.

True that such list are kinda pointless to begin with as there is always something that is missed out and some questionable choices are being made along. I think what I hate here is that it looks like recent=the best as if "outdated" game design or graphics were not worth anyone's time.

I still can unsee Ganondorf in this design but I am truly curious to see the final product as I can see the dev team is definitely cooking a game with lot of potential.

This list feels like "The recent RPGs I have played" more than anything. I love Chrono Trigger but seriously this is silly. Top 10 without Vagrant Story, FFT, Nocturne or Xenogears (I fully understand Panzer Dragoon Saga and Persona 2 are a matter of taste) is insane to me.

I had to look a few times before I realises this is not a thumbnail for "Legend of Zelda characters remade in UE5" video. Insane redesign for Wolf but I am even more curious now.

One of my PS3 favourites. Yes it is a bit tedious at time and combat requires good positioning which can be a frustrating to some but gosh that atmosphere, music and art design 🖤 Also the usage of sixaxis was brilliant. Pity there was never a sequel that could flesh out the gameplay ideas better.

I still feel I am better off playing Dread Delusion which is similar vibe but combat actually works and general feel is closer to old From Software games. Pity my Xbox controller does not work properly (very laggy) as I hate mouse and keyboard but well this might be the only solution in this case.
