We went through BREXIT, but there's been no accountability.
The election of TRUMP is concerning.
Periodically, I take a break, as social media is like a drug to me!

You have to differentiate between 1) Fararges policies and 2) why people vote for him.
Getting 'rid' of DEI will not make people vote Labour.
Making people feel less 'left behind' will.

We need an independent/European supplied controlled targeted nuclear deterrent.
There's no point in us forking out for US nukes as we do a present as its not our fingers on the button

I've yet to hear Bailey say 'Monopolies must be broken to reduce inflation'.

If I were Putin, or the Heritage Foundation or any other Right Wing Think Tank, I could pump unlimited amounts of money to Farage, with no checks or balances.

There's nothing stopping you donating to the Government
I'm blaming the Government for not taxing/regulating business.

I don't agree with cutting either the WFA or the help for our poorest.
However, Rachel's fiscal rules aren't entirely arbitrary, as breaking them will push up the cost of borrowing.
In my view, she should have taxed the wealthy people and companies.

Should the UK Government not be quietly selling its USD holdings?
They'll all become worthless when Trump crashes the US economy.

That's how I felt immediately after BREXIT. Mind you, so did Farage!
I feel marginally better now.

If it's anything like George Monbiot's article in the Guardian about Dartmoor, Bronte Country is probably all grazed by sheep to sterility.
comment in response to

Possibly, but it could also be used to assassinate Tump.
comment in response to

I am no expert, but I suspect that it's not the 'sheep lobby' but the 'land lobby' that is so influential.
Your documentary could star Toby Jones of Post Office fame perhaps!

This is the same Andrew Bailey who was a fan of Brexit, but has now apparently had a dose of revisionism.
It's a pity people like Bailey could not have been more honest about the shitshow Brexit was to be BEFORE the vote.

Britain honours its ex-servicemen & women in its own way.
It doesn't have to meet Republican ideals of 'Respect '.
Personally I think free at point of use Healthcare is a considerably better honour.

Can I just say, (I have NO connexion with the author), that I really enjoyed the book. I really made me think about how land, the vital asset, is actually owned, and the perverse incentives at play.

Tesla's problem is that as 2nd hand values plummet, this will deter potential purchasers. The doom loop reinforces itself.
Musk should sell ALL his stock,(and vow never to re-purchase) to give the brand a chance.

The wrong hill to die on.
Means test it, so the wealthy don't get it.
There are a huge number of things that could be taxed, that approximate to wealth taxes. So tax those.

Not just the ƁBC. Social Media as well. Reform are festering in their own bile over on twitter and FB reinforcing their own warped opinions.
