The future of the internet… Computers learning from computers that are pretending to be human.

I hope more companies adopt this, and I’m happy Sony has made this decision. Logging in after launching a single player game is so frustrating.

I use a Cloud PC for gaming, and we are increasingly deploying Cloud PCs at work for Privileged Access. This technology is poised to help with both those cases. Pretty exciting, even though adoption in my country will likely be slow (Canada).

Oh wow, I forgot about this device. I wish I still had mine.

Here’s hoping other countries do not go along with it.

My dad’s friend trapped my family into watching, what I assume was that same movie, when we visited his hometown for a family reunion.
I still avoid contact with that person.

I left Goodreads long ago, I haven’t looked into alternatives recently. I’m going to try StoryGraph, thanks for the recommendation.

It’s hard to explain to some people that say they have nothing to hide, how fast that could change without them actually doing anything wrong.

Well, that seems a lot more shady than I expected. It seems like a superfund should definitely exist for boats, trains, and planes.

The article got mad at me for not subscribing. Is this so common because the company or person responsible for the boat goes bankrupt and thus nobody has any responsibility to decommission them anymore?

I think the current Windows Update is a technological marvel that gets little recognition on how great it works nearly always nowadays.
Windows has a near infinite range in hardware and software configurations, and a mandate for backward compatibility. It’s quite amazing that it just works.

It’s unfortunate, even for my company in Canada, it’s an invaluable agency.

Does this depend on what era they were born? I feel like that with several expressions. 😅

I feel like when I was growing up in the 80s/90s, empathy was considered weak or “feminine.” I felt empathy, but was discouraged from expressing or displaying it.
It makes me happy that kids nowadays have a support network that allows them to express what they feel with less judgement from peers.

I’m not from the US, but the prospect of the US NIST and CISA being eliminated or hampered by bad management is very concerning.

I’ve learned from all the hate talk around Star Wars that studios seem to think the vocal minority is the majority.

It’s unfortunate that a gay kiss in a movie about ANCIENT ROME of all places, would be considered controversial…

I’ll never understand it.
Claiming to be a defender of freedom while harming another’s freedom is crazy. It makes no sense.

It’s unfortunate that people assume that their arguments, not backed up by facts, should be held up equally with arguments that are.

I’m so excited for Season 2. I thought Rogue One was the best thing to come from Star Wars in modern times, then Andor blew that away.

I can’t understand how there are people out there, that think he is a defender of free speech.

I’ll raise my hand on that one. It’s not very intuitive.
