Narrator over shot of late 1980s college newspaper staff making mixed drinks in the darkroom: “in fact, they were NOT committed to excellence”

My college newspaper, that I was the editor of, had “Commitment to Exellence” (spelled exactly like that) on our masthead for about three months

Again, I’m not qualified to answer that and it’s not my job to devise that plan. But I do have the right to expect more out of the people that are entrusted to uphold and protect the constitution to, you know. . . uphold and protect the constitution.
“Meh 🤷♂️ what could they do?” is not the solution

The left needs a leader who can at least inspire to the level Obama did during his first campaign. Not just “well, at least they’re not Trump!”

There’s no doubt that this has all exposed much of America to be angrily sexist and racist. But the Trump era Dems have mostly, with a few exceptions, done little in the way of actual resistance. Trying to prop Biden up for a re-election campaign was fatal error.

I’m a graphic designer, I’m not going to pretend to know how to battle a fascist regime as an elected official but if the leadership in the Democratic Party were good at their jobs we wouldn’t be talking about Trump’s disastrous second term, we’d be talking about his various trials.

I’m still waiting for the “opposition” party to something. Anything. About any of it. Fig 1: Democrat “leaders”

Starting to think she's got some kind of weird toilet fetish. Even the MAGA's are going "Ok, Nance. We heard you. Bathrooms, bathrooms, bathrooms! Enough! We've got brown people and poors we need to demonize too. Let's move along!'

He told that story on purpose. He didn’t accidentally say it in earshot of a reporter or in a private conversation or better yet to his therapist. The man sat at his computer and typed that fucked up shit and then published it.
On purpose.

Shouldn't "fee-fees" have an apostrophe? "Fee-fee's hut"
But I haven't taken presidential babytalk since high school when Reagan was in office.

Way to go Montana! Don't say that often. Even though I escaped Montana immediately after high school to the nearest big city I still feel a connection. It's still a gorgeous place to visit. Especially in Missoula where UM is there's always been a liberal community among all the R's.

Happy for him. Happy that DC gets a real NFL franchise again. That's a fun team to root for.

When I encounter people who talk like this I just automatically assume they're desperately insecure about their intelligence and are not to be taken seriously.

It’s definitely fake. He’s said so many damning things it’s actually harmful to post fake stuff like this.
Just because it might be what he’s thinking, posting it devalues the real argument.

I've had a bad feeling that a protester or protesters will be killed by US troops this year and I think that's going to spark more violence and who knows what. He's so thirsty for blood. I think he can't wait for that to happen.

I’ve been a Chiefs fan since Ed Podolak was my favorite player. The amount of fucks I give about the whining about calls? Zero.
Ive suffered through 50 years of other teams getting all the luck.

Every single fan base in pro or major college sports has a subset of toxic fans. All of them. The fan who yelled that is classless. But painting an entire city and fanbase because of one horrible fan - also classless.
