We have that same shield on our church banner, which we have used in the last two Pride parades in Albuquerque.

That hat is everything! 🔥

100% this. I don’t always feel like going, but I’m pretty much always glad I did once I’m there!

And I’ll also add that people like you, Ben, are helping to attract new people to TEC. So keep up your good work!

Yes, exactly. This is much like dealing with the Westboro Baptist ghouls…they hated being ignored as well!

It was good! We were supposed to have a baptism today but the family had to postpone it. Still renewed our baptismal vows anyway and our deacon preached a fantastic sermon… dare I call it a “fire” sermon? Yes, I think I shall! 🔥🔥🔥

Because not all of us are like him, thanks be to God.

I take communion every opportunity I get (including at our Pride parade yesterday), so I would do so at both services in your situation.

At my church, we are all encouraged to wear red on Pentecost. I will definitely be doing so! 🔥

Sorry to hear that. I am so thrilled at what we have in my city and diocese now, because I remember very well when it was not that way.

A few additional pictures! ⚓️✝️

The authoritarian streak in the GOP is a mile wide and has been that way for a long time. What is really discouraging to me is how many Democrats seem to *also* be okay with authoritarianism.

Making liberal use of blocking makes my experience far more enjoyable here. But wading into some of the replies these days is just depressing TBH. Some people just can't quit Twitter even when they are on here.

Not one to yuk someone else's yum usually, but...I have to agree.

Yeah, I'm thinking Elon might need to avoid hotel windows for pretty much the rest of his life at this point.

Poor thing! His life is *over* now. 😂

Happy anniversary!

Good to hear! 👍

Have been there before myself. Last year Anthem tried to make me switch to mail order for my meds. I called them and raised a fit about it and they caved and let me keep using the pharmacy connected to my clinic at the local university. So fight them any way you can!

Poor LuLu! Hope she is better soon, because no one likes to deal with the indignities of these collars.

Nuked mine a couple of years ago with no regrets.

Be right over! 👍

Yep. The Democratic Party has millions of dollars to give away to elite centrists like these, for the same old bad advice that always fails.

Well done!

More like $90 million set on fire for nothing, if you ask me.

Well, you *do* have a bit of smoulder going on, so... 👍

Really proud that my bishop and diocese are taking a big part in this pilgrimage!

Can think of at least a couple who generally fit that description.

That actually tends to correspond with the hottest time of the year in SF (September-early October), so that tracks.

Indeed. Pondering whether I might want one of these shirts myself! 😂

I’m so sorry to hear that. My 3 dogs add so much joy to my life and I know I would be devastated to lose any of them. Lola seems like she was a lovely dog!
comment in response to post
Agreed. I read Repentance and Repair myself a few months ago and definitely recommend it.

A bit of gray is a good thing in my book! 👍

Even the most cursory look at the statements of the current government of Israel about their plans and desires for the people of Gaza and the Palestinian people in general, taken alongside the objective facts of what they have actually done on the ground in Gaza, is sufficient to show it's genocide.

Not sure I could survive that long with no coffee! Hope you enjoyed the hell out of it! ☕️

I used to think that he was pretty decent (as Republicans go these days, anyway), but obviously that has all changed now.

100%. His shitty opinions are what I have a problem with, not his sexual proclivities.

Same here! I do sometimes think I would be Methodist if I weren’t Episcopalian.

They certainly pulled that verse out of context, didn't they?

Bodie is bringing it! Happy Pride, y'all! 🌈

I get that since I am single also. But the way I look at it is that I need to be willing to go do things by myself if I want to to anything other than just stay home.

Happy Pride to you, too, Larry! I can kind of relate. Last year was my first Pride celebration in years…but I had a great time. I’m going again this year!
