Every time I see these pencil crayons, I think about how the "Poppy Red" pencil crayon was nothing but a stump by Nov 11.

We stopped at the replica Cheers bar while in Boston in 2011. There was a young man trying to explain the show to a couple of young women he was with. At one point one of the women stopped him and asked "Do you mean that old show "Friends"?" I will just never forget how old I felt at that moment.

It's a sad outcome for sure but unfortunately not unusual in areas where people aren't used to living with bears. I think the COs took the right action for downtown Regina. They would have had more options in a different community.

I love the Gems so much. One of my favourite places.

I don't think they should be allowed at all. Just like I don't think there should be private healthcare.

Private schools should not exist.

I was all "Wait, there's even more!" But then I saw it's from 2020.

Right!?! Also, I think if O'Toole might have played better in this election.

No to resignation... I want to see the CPC eat their leader alive... As is their tradition.

Isn't he part of the partisan panel?

You just keep keeping your onions in plastic. Ha ha!

This is just proof that he has never shopped or been seriously in charge of preparing food.

The bread dries out because it has been sliced. If it was not in plastic it would dry out. In plastic it will stay moist but will at some point spoil.

The potatoes, carrots, onions, beets, and squash we grow at home are stored all winter without packaging because they would go bad on plastic bags.

I buy cardboard boxes of apples direct from an orchard. We store them in those in cool and dry storage. They last for months. If I need to apples in plastic bags, I take them out because they don't keep.

Harper did terrible things our ability to know and act on things... Destruction of Climate Data, Species at Risk, mandatory census, opting out of census records.. etc. Lots of times I see what is happening south of us and think "That's what Harper wanted to do".

It's not related to biology but at 1 am this Saturday morning we got a call that a relative was killed in a small aircraft crash in TX. I would be surprised it anything has changed either... Small aircraft is just so unforgiving to error.

The day before my convocation, one of my professors, Dr. Malcolm Ramsay, died in a helicopter crash. Sobering reminder for those of us just starting our career.

That's fantastic! By the way, I found paddling camps in Regina and my son is really excited about learning to Kayak.

I loved that show. We watched a few seasons with our kids recently. They enjoyed them even if they are not as sophisticated as shows now.

I apparently was part of the "Unaware and don't care" protest.

Me too... But even here, it's not as solidly CPC for once.

We returned to satellite because we missed CBC News in TV format. It was literally the only thing we didn't like streaming.

@cbcnews-rss.bsky.social @evandyer.bsky.social then this is the report to file every single night: “CBC was not permitted to ask questions.”
