Yeah very unfortunately it has been a trend that people write off just cuz ppl are good at the game
comment in response to post
Yeah you’re fine I saw your helpdesk post, there’s other certain individuals here I’m referencing that tend to find themselves in drama often

I hope you find him 😭😭😭

And I refuse to believe it’s not purposeful atp with how much it happens w the same people

Yeah his videos strike a very good ground of being entertaining, informational, and showing what comp pokemon has to offer. He’s had lots of good videos covering rises and falls of specific mons, fun archetypes to use, etc. And he’s really the only one I’ve seen that has done it so successfully

Really easy to break down and digest* Missed a word there in the broken up posts lol
comment in response to post
To break down and digest for people who are not already involved in the scene. You can watch his videos and get really good ideas of how things went and how cool the tourneys are without actually having to have a strong base knowledge of pokemon comp
comment in response to post
Wolfey has tons of videos showcasing his tournament runs and uses it to often specifically highlight either very cool and interesting strategies he’s used with pokemon not thought to be traditionally super strong or really key large tournaments in that scene. And he does it in a way that’s really

I found out one day cuz YT recommended to me the world championships and I was like woah there’s tournaments?
comment in response to post
I guess what I’m saying is I knew splatoon content existed but I was unaware of like real splatoon tournaments and the comp scene, so it wouldn’t have occurred to me the content existed in the first place
comment in response to post
In casual circles I’m not surprised. When I was just in a little clan I had basically no idea about the world of comp splatoon

what is ur favorite flavor of cake?
comment in response to post
I would just remember that word does sometimes take time to travel and to discuss and that IPL doesn’t typically post bans publicly.
comment in response to post
Yes this I’ve been saying this (as you know from private chats haha) but I am so strongly of an opinion that Splatoon is just a hobby and when significant cause is harmed I think it’s wonderful if people can learn and grow but they have to ultimately respect that other may not want them around
comment in response to post
It is also notable that skill level is factored in how likely someone is to defend a banned player’s past actions. That is a fact. When a new major is announced, someone always takes out a full page ad defending that player’s character while coincidentally wanting to play with them in the major.

Doesn’t mean someone cannot go to a new community and continue to grow as a person and form new relationships. Learn from their past behavior and mature from it. But for anyone who has been hurt by someone, you can’t put a time limit on how long that pain is allowed to linger.
comment in response to post
It’s too broad a topic for one correct answer. One thing I think our community struggles to understand is that redemption doesn’t have to come in the form of being able to play a video game again. Sometimes the damage caused is too harmful for someone to return, regardless of their actions.
comment in response to post
Sure, but regardless the impact of your posts have been highly inflammatory and degrading. By all means post criticism I’m just saying next think a little more about what’s being said and implied in your posts before posting
comment in response to post
them with acting with extreme ill intent. Thats what im saying is extreme and you should stop.
comment in response to post
I’m not sure how the point keeps missed 😭 Your first post in this line of tweets directly implies that splat safety can *NOT* have the community’s interest in heart while being anonymous. Your previous posts have likened them to the Supreme Court. You multiple times have very much so accused
comment in response to post
Yep, once again I agree, I think they should be more transparent operations. I haven’t said otherwise throughout the whole conversation.
comment in response to post
Sure absolutely stuff like that could help. The point I’m trying to make is in the same post you’re directly implying malice by them that they cannot have the communities best interest in mind. That kind of rhetoric is ill informed at best and dangerous at worst. That’s what I’m asking you to stop
comment in response to post
Something that would do a lot to easy tensions between them and the community but also you’re criticizing them for acting on hearsay while you’re acting on hearsay
comment in response to post
I think what you’re forgetting is Splat Safety has no real power. Signatory Organizations choose to enforce their bans, and have more access to them than the general public. You can believe anything you hear but it doesn’t necessarily mean something is true. More transparency I can agree is
comment in response to post
Petition your TOs to make independent decisions, I have across multiple organizations and we’ve made bans to help protect people. It’s only by banding together that we make change not by attacking and tearing others down
comment in response to post
I realize all this may sound overly harsh - I don’t blame you for wanting better safety in the community, we all should. But what you’ve been choosing to do and say isn’t conducive to that end
comment in response to post
You purposefully stoking the flames without offering real solutions won’t change this community or make it any safer
comment in response to post
Your arguments of “these people can’t have people’s best interests in mind” and other posts you’ve made are so extremist. I would encourage you to think about the nuance of these situations, not everything is so black and white. People can kinda just be bad at a job without having ill intent
comment in response to post
Not to say I think they do everything perfectly, there’s very valid criticisms to be had but the anonymity is always such a bad argument
comment in response to post
I think you’ll find no one is willing to put their personal lives potentially in the line of fire for stuff like this. Anonymity is important for safety when dealing the worst kinds of people
comment in response to post
So yeah what about the doxxing attack several months ago that resulted in tons of sensitive information about very vulnerable people being leaked? Make people public and those attacks become even easier. Not to mention just general threats that the kind of people splat safety banned ppl would send
