I've really enjoyed Tarkirs impact on standard. I've got a Bant dragon, and Mardu Control list both really based off Tarkir.

Thats totally fair. And like I LOVE standard right now. And the U.B. thing is killing my desire to play it in paper. Which sucks because they did so much work to make it not suck. Then right when they get there they decide to ruin it again.

I think they're desire is to force standard players to purchase more expensive packs. Kind of like how modern players HAD to have One Rings to play the best decks forcing more pack of LOTR to be opened. Even though mostly it was kind of an under powered set for that format.

I don't see how anyone can think premium priced standard product is a good thing. Even if a person only plays EDH standard makes up the bulk of the card pool. If the intro format cards are crazy expensive what are we telling new players about our game?
