Depending on the item you’re plugging in, it can have a plain two-prong plug, a polarized two-prong plug, and a grounded three-prong plug, and that’s just for the 110-120v “normal” stuff. Dryers and whatnot use a 240v outlet and there are at least two prong configurations that I can remember.

Manufacturers would *never* think to attach a power cord for the outlets in the local market. No, they all make their stuff with only North American plugs. It’s a shame, really, for folks in that country (Europe) to have to have adapters on hand all the time.

Holy crap… have you been reading my mind?? I’ve been shouting the same GDed thing! There’s always some lame-ass “the Bible is forbidden in school,” “the Ten Commandments should be in schools and courtrooms” post on Facebook or Nextdoor (I know…) and I ask exactly that, what they expect it to do.

Not at the transplant clinic, of course, where they all mask when around one of us, but it should not be surprising, even in North Carolina, to see someone masking. It’s the stuff like you’ve unfortunately run into that keeps me from doing those things. 😢

I am convinced that my father’s exposure to Agent Orange in Viet Nam is the reason I ended up with several chronic illnesses including one that ended up requiring a heart transplant (four months ago today!). It seems they are in no hurry to recognize children of male vets as victims of AO.
