Farts. An entire ass full of farts.

Tariffs are the stick. They require a carrot to function. There is no carrot here, just more and more sticks. It's a complete failure to understand basic economics by an anthropomorphized Cheeto.

The incredible irony of all this is that if the US had an ounce of strategic planning these tariffs could be a slam dunk. If the US had spent the last 12 years rebuilding our manufacturing base we could do things like offer tax incentives for people to buy American made cars etc, etc. 1/2

Actually I got it because we chose the sponsor in Ruby Phoenix Tournament who facilitates us gambling on matches and Slab won almost every bet he placed during the tournament. But yes, it does work quite well for that too.

I'll lie to you for the satisfaction of knowing I'm setting you up for catastrophic failure alone. No water needed.

Rulebooks are only useful if your customers read them. A broad chunk of the current ttrpg audience prefers to skim at best, and then everything not covered in ten minutes reading outside of session should be adjudicated on the fly. Taking a quick second to open the books mid session is anathema.

When a plan comes together. Or, explodes spectacularly in our party's face.

The part that bothered me the most was that every NPC was either an MMO style quest giver, or a collectible trading card to add to your circus that stopped mattering in book 2. They had no depth, no engagement, no story. Just cardboard cut outs.
comment in response to post
It was a dogshit product. The first two books were decent because they actually had the circus story line. The back 4 books were a completely and absolutely generic "save the world from Armageddon" story with absolutely nothing of value. One of paizo 's few total stinkers. Regret playing it.

So, only wear it when you plan on being doted on from a comfortable repose! :P Sometimes you gotta choose between looking sizzling or functional mobility.

Don't make 5 people who are enthusiastically participating put up with a disruptive shitter because you like them in other contexts.

When a GM continues to allow a player who is verbally disinterested in the system, refuses to pay attention to anything that doesn't directly involve the character, and refuses to learn the system when you're 15 sessions deep to continue playing because they're a friend.

To make right with Besmara because Besmara absolutely forbids infighting between crewmates at sea. You settle your drama on land.

The funny part was my PC was also a devout worshipper of the goddess of piracy (She worshipped a triumvirate of goddesses of slaughter, piracy and lust/revenge) so when the blood haze cleared and Crimson realized she'd killed a crewmate she had to pay for the other PC's revive 1/2

It was the only PVP of the campaign, and only permitted because the other player had so thoroughly and flagrantly disregarded plot / character build up.

Her opportunity. The GM breaks character and asks the player "Are you SURE you want to do this?" He says yes. His volley kills. Crimsons turn starts and she hacks the offending ranger limb from limb in a frenzy of crits, doing enough damage to kill him twice over. 3/4

Before the journey to engage said nemesis began, Crimson made a big speech and sacrifice to her cult in the lower decks of the ship, got herself all anointed and had promised the target as a sacrifice to her goddess. He was a marked man. Other player makes it clear he's going to deny Crimson 2/3

My kukri maniac had a nemesis she'd been waiting over three in game years to kill. When we finally got to grips, another PC beat Crimson in initiative and lined up a killing volley while adjacent to her. I'd already emoted that Crimson was "practically twitching with bloodlust". 1/2

Red flag for any heterosexual person is only having same gender friends. It's a bright, neon sign that screams "I only interact with people for my own selfish needs."

Compareloneliness related mental health rates in countries where the single generation nuclear family is the norm to countries where multigenerational housing is the norm. The numbers speak for themselves. We need our villages and tribes back, not our little capitalism taxation breeding bubbles.

My personal opinion is that the loneliness epidemic has nothing to do with the Patriarchy, as it's so put, and everything to do with the entirely unnatural "nuclear family" and western obsession with single generational dwellings I cbf typing a treatise with thumbs. Going to 1/2 it and that's it

"Chicken and Waffles." Elegant and simple: any party member saying "Chicken and Waffles" outside of a direct culinary context is telling the party that they are about to commit an act of proactive self defense in the next six seconds. No discussion, no quibbling, no plotting. Just go time.

Agony's Apex A dreamscape contained entirely within the psyche of a long forgotten, tortured demi-god controlled by a fist-sized obsidian artifact that has replaced my heart. From the outside The Apex looks like a series of massive white marble cubes integrating together in maddening ways.
