Just as I ask for a Plague Doctor commission I end up finding a really good article about the beak doctor by Professor Marion Maria Ruisinger that answers a lot of my questions regarding the romanticized imagery and lack of primary accounts of the uniform being used during epidemics.

I haven't been paying attention to the bluesky vs twitter discussion. I'm only aware of it's presence. If anyone wants to know my thoughts about it, let's just say one place is far worse than the other. Bluesky ain't perfect but I see a lot less bigotry and toxicity here. I hope it gets better.
